This was great, the sound of the crackling exhaust, the wind, hearing the shifting of the gears oh so real thank you.

I know where he is coming from. The 2017 is my second SL having bought the first in 2011 and after six years I still love getting behind the wheel.

Hi. Started watching your reviews a couple of weeks back. Enjoyed them so much I have now subscribed. Also dig that you enjoy trains both the 1:1 scale and 'O' scale. Maybe a car and train video sometime in the future?? Great reviews - keep them coming. Thanks. Joseph

Wow 😲! Long time follower, now subscriber. I have a turbo Cummings diesel and man is that torquey! * if there's such a word*. I can actual feel the linear torque, but a lot smoother than my truck. Amazing vid.

Ben, were the brakes steel or carbon ceramic? It sounds like breaking power was more than sufficient to handle that amazing engine. Another great video. (Mike in Ohio)
@BenWayne857 жыл бұрын
These were the traditional rotors, they work just fine. The carbon ceramics are an additional $9,000. In my opinion the carbon ceramics aren't really necessary, I doubt people typically track this car due to it's mass and weight distribution.

Ben. How would you compare this to the S class coupe?
@BenWayne857 жыл бұрын
The S class coupe is a great cruiser and currently has a lot more tech than the SL does. I must though, that these are two different cars. The SL is a 2-seat roadster and the S Coupe can seat 4 adults comfortably on long road trips.

Ben, is this the most powerful v8 SL?
@BenWayne857 жыл бұрын
Yes, the SL63 is the most powerful V8 SL from Mercedes-Benz. There is V12 model as well.

Subtly ,I know this car screams money and class just right for pulling up at a very snooty London shop.
