That might have been the most encouraging comment I have ever received! These videos are very hard and expensive for me to put out and I am so glad they are being appreciated! I have plans to do many more and with support like this I know I will. Thanks you and most cheers to you my man:)

I had these dudes in my cousin girlfriends car back in 97'. they had a different guitarist and drummer! Its been a while since I even listened to Hed. I'm damn glad I checked this out ! By the way that was in Cincinnati, Ohio we took them to their hotel. These guys are very cool and extremely down to earth. 1love

What a cool memory and glad you found the video! I first met them and partied on their tour mini RV in 97 as well. That was in Missouri. Imagine how many people they have met and influenced over the years. Way cool! Thank you for watching and commenting.

@Alox14 It was nothing but professional and a family environment on that bus.Jahred is the real deal and was focused on his words and getting ready for the show. I had no idea his son was on board and was completely taken back when I saw him. Wish I would have asked him more questions about his family but this was about truth. That was such an awesome day! Thank you for watching and commenting!

I also just read this online... The band was formed by rapper Jared Gomes, also known as "M.C.U.D." (MC Underdog), and guitarist Wes Geer, who became friends amidst the Orange County hardcore punk scene. They named the group "Hed", which stands for "higher thought". The band built a following with their energetic performances at local venues, and released the self-financed, Church of Realities. Legal issues forced Hed to change their name, adding "PE", which stood for "Planet Earth".

I am not affiliated with the band and am just a huge fan. I have heard a couple different definitions for the band name tho. One is Hed PE stands for Human Evolution Down on Planet Earth. I have also heard that "Hed" means "of the mind" and "pe" means "planetary evolution" or "planet earth". If I ever get a chance to do another interview(a longer more in depth one) I will add this to the list of questions:) Hope that helped and thank you so much for watching and commenting!

I'm not associated with the band just a fan but my understanding is Hed is signed to Suburban Noize records which is the Kottonmouth Kings label. Hed plays the Gathering every year and are Psychopathic friendly. Kottonmouth, Hed, and ICP have had an on and off relationship since the 90's but are all part of the family. But i could be totally wrong lol thanks for watching and commenting.

@HouseMDgamer Totally agree. Underground comes from the heart and mainstream comes from a corporate machine. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I know PE stands for Planet Earth. And on some youtube interview, Jared discusses the meaning of HED but it's not clear of what it stands for or what it stood for in the past. I wish you success in the future. Stay hard, raise hell.
