You are dead right about the lambo hence why they have sold many urus s as even people with a bit of money don't always have enough space (ie one double garage) or enough spare money to buy more than 1 supercar so naturally they want it to be able to do more things and seriously how many people have to complain about lambo seats for them to look into changing them!

Re-sprays and restores his Ferrari, then straight away smashes it around in a european rally, Buys a petrol guzzling Audi, knowing the mpg, then sells it straight away because of guess what...the mpg it gets Buys and wraps new car without seeing samples of the vinyl, guess what he doesn't like it, and wants to take it off, Starting to see a pattern here, it's not looking good

Pretty much any ~year old car is going for more than it was bought for. 8 month Audi TT S-line, just sold it back to the same dealer for £1800 more than I bought it for. People aren't prepared to wait a year for a new one.

Hi, it’ll be contentious but for a topic either just a podcast or even a live event.. ideally I’d love to come and speak on the topic (I don’t have industry expertise,like I’m not a traffic cop etc).. but I think my points are valid and I’m not afraid to p1ss people off!. Basically the idea is around road safety and the difference between U.K./European automotive social media influencers in particular to American counterparts!. In particular the absolutely disgraceful and disgusting behaviour and driving we see from the big American KZbin channels to varying degrees. At the very worst end is the likes of DDE and effspot who routinely film themselves driving at extremely dangerously and high speeds on public roads literally in almost every video…down to the likes of stradman who still drives at very dangerous high speeds on public roads just not quite as recklessly as say DDE or effspot, all of the above blur their speedometers because they know what their doing is illegal, reckless and dangerous!. Now one of the points will be. When one of those reckless U.S. channels is I’m afraid to say inevitably involved in a serious and likely fatal crash it’ll be absolutely catastrophic for all automotive social media outlets including channels like Tim’s, Sam’s, TGE etc even though they are super safe and respectful of road laws and understand they are setting an example. The media will immediately tarnish all car fans, car KZbinrs etc as reckless, dangerous criminal thugs!. So the other sim of the podcast will be to discuss the differences of car culture and things like driving standards in the U.K./Europe compared to the U.S. and why there is such a big difference. Furthermore it’ll be an outlet snd opportunity to really call out the likes of DDE, effspot and let them know your behaviour isn’t acceptable, you are not supported by the community and it’s not okay to endanger the lives of everyone on or near a public road so you can make a “cool” video!. Something somewhere needs to be done to shut these American KZbinrs down before they ruin it for everyone!. One of them will be involved in a catastrophic crash, you have people who are not professionally trained drivers driving at 150-160mph down highways, main roads hence it’s a question of when not if and just hope and pray no innocent road users or pedestrians are killed!. Obviously I hope by some miracle it never happens and I wish ill on nobody even DDE!. But when the inevitable happens I won’t have sympathy for say DDE if they hit a tree a 150mph because they’ve had many chances to stop… I just hope as I said no innocent road uses are killed!. It’d be a massive podcast it’d be referenced everywhere as it’s a contentious issue but if it gets the like Of dde’s backs up maybe it’ll make them change their behaviour before their either dead or in prison for decades for killing a family of five!.

Tony, if u guys think a STO is too special purpose, what do you think of the performante relative to the sto? i am debating bwtween evo and perf. Staying off STO because i dont want to risk losing a ton of $$. Perf is older but more raw, evo awd is newer and cheaper in the US. I owned perf coupe before but didnt like the visibility, like everything else about it. Pista and speciale is priced a lot higher here in the US than UK, makes little sense now to own them vs the 458 at less than half the price. But with your recommendation (vs f8/488) I will start to pay attention and perhaps grab one up in a couple of years (was never into turbo cars)

Thanks mate. Reason for the potential change is the brakes on the macan constantly squeal. It’s got carbon composite brakes and to be honest when you are on it and the brakes are hot there ok however when pottering about they are a nightmare. The water for the window washers read empty when full and the bing bong when the some one gets out the car goes for 5 mins plus. Maybe I just got a bad one. It’s at Porsche now hope they sort it. I came from an sq7 vorsprung and found the Audi to be an around better car. Rant over :-)

@@chris-eccohealthcare that is frustrating though, squealing is of course a side effect of carbon brakes but still annoying either way. Don't know the mileage, but maybe it gets better after running them in? Hopefully Porsche gets you sorted out because Macan GTS seems to be a great vehicle. RS6 also is a great car, but between the 2 I'd choose the Macan to live with assuming your issues get sorted.

PLEASE SAM, consider a brand new Macan GTS. It’s absolutely incredible as a daily driver. It has done everything that your X3M40i has done but better, it has more personality, it’s faster, quicker, louder, more comfortable, and it’s a Porsche. It would be a great hauler.

RS6 is just to big, to heavy and to much money, they look great but can't see the point at a six figure sum. I know you're not a real fan but much wiser spending £70,000 on a Macan (or X3M40d) and using the £40k saved to reduce the finance on the GT3.

Hey Guys, Love your podcast and always watch it on KZbin. I have to take issue with the ongoing criticism of the SLK55 AMG (mainly by Tony). In this podcast at the 33.40 point you reference it as a low point in F1 pace cars. Firstly , it has to achieve specific performance targets to be allowed to act as the pace car for F1 and secondly, how amazing that a sports car at sub 911 money was deemed sufficiently fast without major mods to take on this very specialised role. I am a happy owner of an SLK 55 AMG and feel that this car has undeservedly been maligned since it’s introduction in 05. If it was so ropey, why did a certain Mr Jeremy Clarkson buy one prior to his ownership of his first Black series. The answer in print was he thought that it was one of the most fun cars that he drove on Top Gear in 2004 (see Fight Club for the actual video on KZbin). Sam if you ever fancy trying out a 2005 SLK 55, you are welcome to try mine.
