Captain, I wish you had emphasized the role of Airplane engineers, who sign the airworthiness of the airplane,who slog and offer you the machine airworthy, always on toes, running against time, a balancing act, of safety, and OTP. Aviation is the safest mode of travel. Pilots as others feel are not paid heavy for an easy work, but they lead and take command and huge responsibility for hundreds of soul. As pointed out it is about being composed, right decision making, with scope of errors almost nil, that's what we aviators are trained for.. Proud to be an aviator....
