George from Australia. These songs of Zion have been a great blessing to my soul, particularly "In moments like these". It's the first time I have heard this song and I am 76. They sing so well the Whitewell Tabernacle Church even though this song was recorded in 2002. PRAISE THE LORD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW.

By the way they have already stopped singing these beautiful old hymns and choruses now Pastor James McConnell passed in 2021. It was inevitable as he was the one who truly appreciated them and it was he who led the congregation in praise and worship, often spontaneous.

Just keep singing along with these old videos because you will never find this annoInting in the modern church services and Pastor James McConnell KNEW IT! It was HE who appreciated and loved all the old hymns and choruses and HE who led the congregation in more often than not spontaneous praise n worship. What you are hearing, seeing and experiencing is the TRADITIONAL ASSEMBLIES OF GOD SPIRIT FILLED SERVICES. But the modern church services are all about self glorification and don't INVOLVE the Whole congregation as Pastor McConnell would do. Notice his continual encouragement and edifying throughout along with expounding upon the words of the songs. He encourages confirmation and praise from his congregation eg "Can I get an Amen or a Praise the Lord please?" One is DRAWN IN to the whole praise experience and atmosphere even just watching and hearing it on video one is experiencing the SPIRITUAL REALITY OF BEING IN GODS PRESENCE. TRULY OUR GOD DWELLS IN THE PRAISES OF HIS PEOPLE and not a "worship team or band"!
