An outreach from this church outside the bank in Glengormley in 1991 was God reaching out to me. My daddy had died after a short illness important and I was 34 years old lost in sin desperate for peace. Jesus Christ died for the ungodly like me. He stood guilty in my place, the sinless Son of God and only He could pay the penalty that justice demanded. Justified just as if I never sinned, grace saved me forever, my sins forgiven because of Jesus and forgotten. I will live with God forever. Have you any room for Jesus is a song for Christmas time. Sinner, bid Him enter while you may.❤

Eternally grateful to you for putting up these recordings of the earlier services (1988 to 2007 but not much later) of the Assemblies of God Church at Whitewell Tabernacle, Belfast, Northern Ireland led by Pastor James McConnell. You have captured a most precious period of Church life when the Church was still singing the beautiful traditional hymns and the older choruses dating back as far as the 70's. It was a time when the singing and praise n worship was centred and focused on the CONGREGATION. GOD DWELLS IN THE PRAISES OF HIS PEOPLE! And NOT in a CHURCH BAND no matter how professional they sound. It is the Spirit filled love and enthusiasm and the beautiful timeless classic songs and words focused on Jesus that make these recordings so very precious. Truly it is as if you were actually present at the service whilst listening and watching and receiving the presence and annointing of the Holy Spirit of that moment! A 'touch' from the Lord is so REAL! There is NOTHING that compares to this Church, Whitewell Tabernacle's praise and worship anywhere in the world! But EVEN MORE than that is when Pastor James McConnell leads the worship. He overflows with the love, joy and presence of the Spirit of God and communicates, connects with, exhorts, encourages and infuses his congregation with this. The Assemblies of God are Pentecostal and the presence of God was always very much the focus in the services. There was a freedom and a liberty in the Spirit in the earlier days which is not there now. These were truly GLORY DAYS! Christians searching for this kind of worship cannot find it anywhere anymore. We are heading into dark days my friends and the "loosing of Satan for a short season to go out to deceive the nations" just before Christs return is in full swing. This is the 'Historicist' or Ammillenial view which is the traditional Protestant Christian view of the endtimes. The ecumenical view has invaded all the Protestant Christian Churches now and this is also why we no longer have the annointing. You cannot mix Babylonian religion with the holy, pure biblical Protestant Christian faith based on Gods Word alone. "COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE THAT YE BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS " is the CALL TODAY! Rev 18:4. The ROMAN POPE /PAPACY is STILL the ANTICHRIST and MAN OF SIN and JESUS CHRIST IS STILL HEAD OF THE BIBLICAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH AND IS STILL RULING AND REIGNING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD AND WILL COME AGAIN IN GLORY WITH THE SAINTS AT THE (the one and only physical) RESURRECTION to JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD. Sound the Trumpet! Sound the Alarm! Jesus Christ is COMING SOON! REV 20:1-15.
