I do think One Ring has a place in the deck, but I'm not convinced that it should be a 4-of. 2 or 3 seems more reasonable IMO

Part of the issue is the life loss. The legend rule helps solve this issue. While legend ruling itself, you also get protection from everything. It pushes people towards four

That felt dominating. Question for game 2 of match 5: With the opener you could have played: - chrome mox imprint fable - ancient tomb - caves of chaos adventurer exiling spirit guide from hand - chalice on 0 I might be wrong but the only acceleration for show and tell in that deck is 0 cost artifacts wich are shut down, so i would assume 99% of the time we look at a turn 3 show and tell. They dont have a lot of answers to adventurer in play and you have your fastest clock in play, got 4th mana source secured and get 2 looks for gas each turn between draw and adventurer trigger. Turn 2 would be a slap for 7, turn 3 slap for 7 and trap for 19 damage. Im very positive though your choice is probably better than mine but i dont understand why. giving them cantrips in exchange for shutting down their acceleration and having a faster clock seems so good. And both lines would get blown out by a counter anyways.

15:25, you missed lethal. Playing the goblin rabblemaster would give +1/+0 to both of the goblin shamans, plus the other goblin created at beginning of combat, then you could've finished him off with the stomp. Didn't really matter anyways, but hey! good to know! Loved the game, keep up the good content.

Bonecrusher giant can kill true name also. Stomp has the clause that damage can’t be prevented this turn, so if you stomp another target while true name is blocking it kills it

Go to a site like MTGTop8 or MTGGoldfish and check out recent Red Prison / Moon Stompy decklists. The stock builds don't tend to play it, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a replacement!

Modern red prison player here. Why is legacy red prison so much more creature based?

Generally speaking, you can't play "full prison" in Legacy and expect to succeed. Interaction is great and decks are fast. It's easier to disrupt and then kill your opponent in roughly 3-4 turns than it is to fully lock down the game.
