I'd have to say the 1016 is the least impressive out of all the 2500 series. It'll probably be the first to get traded out for something in my rack once I start running out of space. I have the 1036, so I'm not losing anything by removing it, except for the white/pink noise. I got my 1027 a few days ago, been having a TON of fun with it and the 4ms Rotating Clock Divider I just finished building.

Yes, I have the same feeling, but then you have no Audio noise source.
