In the 921 the sine- and the triangle-wave are broken in sub-mode. As someone who is familiar with both the Moog original, as well as the Behringer clone, can you confirm that this error occurs also with the Moog 921, or did Behringer make a mistake when cloning the original?

My understanding is that this is the same as with the moog. Tim Shoebrige has a video about these System 55 VCO's that has a patchable fix for the LFO Sine and triangle towards the end.

@@leiferickson3183 Yes, I have seen Tim Shoebridge's video. But so far I have not seen a statement from someone, who owns an original, or at least someone, who knows the original very well. I have seen one video from ketchupok ("moog modular tutorial clip 04 osc 921 LFO"). From this I gather that the Moog 921 does not have these glitches.

@@herbertweixelbaum Maybe ask Sythpro on his channel since he repairs moogs and also has the behringer. I have a pile of the System 55 modules (including the 921 and 921B) on backorder at sweetwater because they are on crazy sale.

@@herbertweixelbaum I just went and watched the video you referenced and yes, it seems like the moog doesnt have this problem - at least that one. Maybe it is a different revision? I have a question: If you do the patch cord fix, does it work when using different notes? Tim just used a steady tone for his demo.

@@leiferickson3183 I don't use the patch cord fix. It doesn't work for me. I can't get the waveforms to be a perfect sine or triangle. I use the combination 921A/B and CP35 instead. That said, changing the frequency seems to make no difference. If the patch cord fix works for you, it should work with different notes and speeds. Don't get me wrong - I still think that the Behringer System 55 is a great synthesizer, and I would buy it again. I just find it a slight nuisance that you can't use the 921 for its intended use.
