I have a 2011 Epiphone Dot (pre-Inspired By Gibson). Love the feel & playability of it, but the pups sound a bit flat. Since I can’t afford a pickup swap, could I use this at the very front of the chain to add some sparkle to the guitar’s output?

That would be a great use for the pedal👍

I use a looper for dialing in my rig. Amp, pedals, etc. Sometimes, a friend isn’t readily available (especially on new pedal arrivals).

30 bucks i will try it . Might just use it for a boost when i need it if nothing else

My guitar and amp has no unwanted nouse, this made my setup sound cheap and nasty as it hissed like a snake even at liwer volume.

Are you using an sss strat?
@GarrettCampbell2 жыл бұрын
Nope, I'm using my trusty Chapman ML1 Modern guitar which sports two humbucking pickups that can be changed into single-coils via the "coil-tap" feature of the tone nob.

Is this good for boosting up the bass to get tight bassy power chords for rhythm guitar...?
@GarrettCampbell2 жыл бұрын
YES!!! This would be great for that! I've used it for exactly that (tight base power chords) and had great results. The bass sliders are very powerful and versatile. Hope this helps! 😀🤘

@@GarrettCampbell Thank you so much...That's exactly what I need...Given the price...I think I dun mind buying one just to try it out...Thanks...!

What's your opinion on MultiFX pedals?
@GarrettCampbell3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I don't use many guitar effects in my music (have you ever heard flanger in a Twilight Force song? XD), so I don't have that much specific advice. Don't break your bank getting authentic vintage spring reverbs and other boutique gear like that. It's just unnecessary. Behringer has the FX600 Multi-effects pedal, and I've played it before. It does the job fine. Of course, Boss has a bunch of options to choose from. As you progress in style and become more picky, you might have more of a need for single pedals. But then again, that's a pricy thing to get in to! I'd just say do what you need and little more. One of my guitarist buddies in my town has a digital pedal board he uses for Hendrix madness and that kind of music. But if that's not you, don't bother. :) I hope this helps you. Rock on!🤘

For metal music and famous metal tones is this a good pedal for sounds like master of puppets and vulgar display of power?

Yes it really helps to hone a sound that's close to what you want already

Cheers mate will be buying this but would you recommend if using distortion pedal at the same time to get a noise gate like would it add a new annoying noise
@superorangeish2 жыл бұрын
Does this pedal add unwanted noise/ hiss to the signal?
@GarrettCampbell2 жыл бұрын
Kind of... if you boost the gain on it, you'll get so natural noise from the high-gain, but it has no "hiss" as far as I can tell.

Question: Will this EQ pedal thicken the tone of my honeytone mini amp? I'm doing a project with these little mini amps and I like the tone except it's too thin. Will this thicken the thin strings even with a mini amp? THANKS
@GarrettCampbell4 ай бұрын
It might, but if your amp's woofer is too small in diameter, it won't create more bass since the speaker can't physically produce it.
@josephesposito34994 ай бұрын
@@GarrettCampbell Thanks, I have the mini Honey tones in better wooden cabinets, and so there is a 'little' better bass response. As long as the equalizer thickens the thin treble strings, that's all I'm after
