Hi, just a video today showing some of the useful default routing in the patch bay. knowing this stuff saves some confusion when you are trying to figure why the neutron might be doing something unexpected and it will also let you be more efficient with the amount of cables you use.
Error in the video captions, the LFO connected to Attenuator2 is LFO(UNI) not LFO(BI)
LFO(bipolar) - does not go below 0, LFO(uni) does
LFO(bipolar) is internally routed to -
the MOD Depth knob.
Multi in
LFO(Unipolar) into Attenuater 2 (which routes to pw1 & pw2 & att1)
Env2 is internally routed to invert.
Assign is stated as being internally routed to att1 CV, but in my testing routing this with a cable works as intended but the internal routing didn't seem to work. So I have left this out of the video.
There are other default routings that are expected but not something we can make use of other than its intended use.
Like noise is routed to S&H in.
Egate1 triggers Egate2
Main routings are.
OSC1 & OSC2 & - OSC Mix.
Noise & external input, LFO, ENV2 all go into VCF which goes into overdrive.
Overdrive, Env1, VCA bias go into VCA
VCA into Delay
Delay into Output.
TLDR; OSC - VCF - Overdrive - VCA - Delay - output
A Roland FA is plugged into the Neutrons midi for when I need to play notes.
