Behringer PRO-800 pt 7: My own patches, sounds, pads, brass, glide, no speak

Last part of this session. Last night I returned to the #Behringerpro800 after a month's break, to check out some sounds again and review sounds I've made during my first sessions with it. Very much pads and strings, some brass and leads, too. Testing also the LFO and just a little bit the Poly-Mod section to see if the firmware update has affected these in any significant way. Spoiler alert: in my use, not that much. And this synth still sounds great!
No speak. As usual I've added some chorus from the built-in effects unit in my mixer and some delay and reverb from a Zoom MS-50G pedal.

Most people are only for noise you are for Music synthesis😎 I can't buy every new Berhinger, so I try to listen if they can be complementary to my set Up. This is a poly synth, and I have a true Juno 6, so this is close , have to attentively imagine how new instruments can be added for my tangerine landscape style music. 🌄

Thank you, happy that you enjoy my experiments! 🙂 Yes, synthesis is something I've been trying to learn during the last couple of years. Before my long break from music (over 10 years of not playing actively) I never actually did much alterations to synth sounds, mostly played just factory patches. I did not understand how to make my own sounds and menu diving was such a turnoff. I had the Roland D-50, Alpha Juno 2 and such synths back then, not very user-friendly if you want to explore synthesis, since everything is in the menues. Now with these new synths, like Deepmind, Pro-1 or Pro-800 or other brands like Novation, Modal, Korgs or Roland's Jupiter-X or Juno-X, you have all (or most) of the settings in front of you, so it is easy to learn and try things. Thanks for the comment on the last patch 🤩 I was a little bit carried away there in the video, because I liked that gliding effect a lot with this brassy, moog-like lead sound. It is a little bit hard to get the right amount of glide in the sound so you can controll it better. And I needed to play in another way, but I really like that effect. I think it is possible to make the same or very similar sound on a Deepmind! Good luck with making the sound!

Interesting idea! I've actually never tested Nord Sample Editor so this could be a good learning experience! Have you used it? Any good hints?
