Behringer System 55 Modular TECHNO SYNTH Monster

So you want to dip your toes into the world of modular synths but don't know where to start? The Behringer System 55 modular synthesizer is an amazing system that offers so much electronic sonic breadth, that it's kind of ridiculous! All this comes from emulating the iconic Moog System 55 from the 1970s- without the physical size or price tag.

Game Changer Audio just released the PLASMA VOICE !!! ...it's 412 EUR, but a complete synth voice module. but i still don't know when the Behringer SY-1 is coming out yet.... but that will be Less Than 200 USD ...and the System 55 would benefit more from the specialized percussion.

how are you syncing the drum machine with the sequencer? I see something plugged into the midi port but nothing coming out of it.

Hello, Thank you for your video. I would have liked to know how your drum machine is synchronized with the behringer 55 system? I do not see a trig cable coming out of the cm1a module only a midi cable

I'd assume the MIDI cable is providing the sync.

Spaghetti and pasta more general, is a great dish there are sooo many ways to serve pasta - just like modular synthesis!

🧙🏻‍♂ You should first try a softsynth that emulates a System 55. If you can get your head around the virtual patching & hear what it sounds like, it'll help you to decide if you want to go hardware.

Are you planning to incorporate a module that can quantize the control voltage from the sequencer to facilitate scale alignment? I was informed about this feature, and I'll be receiving my System 55 shortly.

i have the Arturia Modular V Plugin ... i used that to make the lush synth sound on " Conventional Gruel "

Since this thing is so cheap and compact compared to the original moog modular, I wish someone would take all the modules and mod the crap out of them to shrink them as small as they can possibly go, and then cut off all the jacks routing all the connections to a matrix switch digital patchbay type thing and stuff it inside of a 61-88 key keyboard. Basically making a non modular system 55 keyboard. Use double stacked pots and push pull, push push type pots to save even more space. It would be so freaking cool.

Moog Matriarch is basically a four osc modular based on these same circuits with the benefit of a stereo filter and delay.
