I would be mixing an intrument track and my voice track.....So i should be able to hear both the intrument track(coming from pc) and the microphone... it would be a great help if you answer this to me.....

i have a small doubt please clarify, hum jab kuch record karte hai to hamara analog signal mic capture karta hai and use computer ko bhejta hai and computer use digital me convert karke process karke firse analog me output karta hai with the help of speakers..here this work is already done by the audio interface, but my question is which medium is used to transfer data from this audio interface to computer? is it the Usb cable doing the multiple work of providing power as well as transferring data onto the computer?? instead of plugging headphones into the audio interface if i plug directly to the computer then will i get the sound our not?
