That was patch C4 Jarresk Seq with a slow arpeggio rate and me tweaking the filter frequency, modulation and envelopes.

Well somehow this is the first time the UBxa has looked and sounded this good! I htink people just play super basic presets from bank 1 and make their conclusions, but here its so much more interesting!

Mine was pre-ordered at Andertons. I think they sold out this first batch before they actually arrived. I believe they had about 200 delivered.

Someone needs to give Behringer an award for keeping this sort of thing alive and relatively affordable. I mean... this one's kind of expensive, but compared to buying 80s vintage stuff it's cheap.

This is a very nice synth, I guess they may be available second hand in the summer when you may snag one for a bargain.

Don't play any presets on any synth and judge then about sound quality. It is required that the owner of a new synth should test the sound engine by creating as much new sounds as possible. That's my 36 years of experience in synthesizers. On a lot of synths the presets were nearly all crap because the creator's imaginations were contradictory to mine. I own an Elka EK-22 and this synth is a very good example where most of the presets were created by people who tried to mimick natural sounds.

I ordered mine from Anderton's in the UK on Dec 1st as soon as they were offered for pre-order. I received it on Jan 29th - more available by March 31st. Andertons are a unique UK company with great support from really nice people who love making music.

I had a bit of eventide time factor at the beginning where you can hear echoes - I just usually have a bit of echo when I play analog synths...

Nice sounds, but am I right in thinking there's not much in the way of voice panning going on? Most patches have the voices all down the centre.

Any patch can be modified to have a variety of panning options, it is very versatile in that area. The patches in this video are randomly selected from bank C. I have only had it a few days so not expert with it yet.

All the Behringer synth have low Output....so any Plugin will do. Only hype, not more....and it make no sense to delete my answers. I owned both and know the originals.

From what I can tell, the UB-Xa sounds pretty good, if not "identical" to its referent, and is a remarkable value price-wise... Buy it or don't. I probably won't, but I get why people would.
