Thanks for the video walkthrough! You did not mention that you only get control over 8 faders and you need to set up banking in your assign section in order to reach the rest of your faders in your Logic Pro X project.

@@emerycohen6309 - There are videos here on KZbin. It is not that hard to setup actually. If you have the X32 Edit app you could easily program everything there. You can also do it on the board. In the x32 Edit app: Go to the Assign button in the upper-right, hit Edit. Use one of the three available sets A, B, or C. Switch the controls for buttons 5 till 12 from 'Not Assigned' to 'Remote' and you will see all the controls for channel nudging, banking, even transport control like Record, Play, Stop and also Save or Undo.

I see that the board is controlling the DAW, but is there a way to reverse this so that the daw is controlling the board? Basically I am running sound during a song where I need to be constantly bringing different faders up and down manually. Would it be possible to use the daw to make automation that controls the board faders? I would essentially be using the board for all the live sound like you would normally. I just want to be able to have the faders automated through the song.

Hey man I hope you can help me I have my drums all mic'd up on the x32 and its all going in logic, the only thing i cant seem to figure out is how to get the music that i have going into aux 6 on the back of the board to go into logic. Basically i want to be able to press record and have all my drums be recorded and have the music on aux 6 be recorded in logic. Think you can help me out?

Awesome video my guy. I use Fl studio. I followed all the steps and now I’m good except for the fact that when I try to pan anything in my Daw the Daw says it’s pan but my monitors and earphone still sounds mono sigh. Do you have a solution for that?

That's weird! You might want to double check your connections and routing in the board. I use AUX 1&2 (left and right) as an output for my DAWs

Hi Yaahn I have also a X32 i need it for the bands recordings but without remote control with the board. Normally prefer overdubs stuff and professional recordings with my clarett 8pre from focusrite. Would you say, that the clarett is more professional in tone or could i go ever just with the X32? Is the X32 good enought for professional recordings? I made really good recordings with it, but always struggle and take the clarett for security to the best possible recording Quality. All your stuff you record with the x32? And whats about remotecontrol without Firmwareupdate? I never updated the firmware of my x32, it works perfect since the beginning. Is it possible to remote without an update? Remotecontrol is of course perfect for automation-writing with the real faders. Because of this workflow i think i would also go with the remotecontrol over logic/X32 in the future. If you don‘t need the remotecontrol anymore in a Logic Session, you can just press the remotecontrol button and it works just without the remotecontrol, right? Sorry a lot of Questions I know. Yes, the X32 processing will NOT be heard in the live stream.. You’ll have to do a separate mix in Logic (or any other DAW) for the live stream. No problem 🙏🏾

Just reread your question.. I believe you can but it’ll be a little tricky.. you’d need to run your DAW back into your aux sends and then route that back into 2 open channels… There might be a simpler way though…

Do you have the proper inputs selected in Logic? For example: My drums are inputs 3-15 on my x32. In logic select (how many inputs you need) and route them in Logic as (in my case inputs 3-15) if that makes sense? Let me know!

So update, I had everything set right, I could see the signal from the system preferences once the interface was selected but not in logic. I left home for a few days power went out due to storm computer turned off, as SOON AS I TURNED IT ON AND OPENED LOGIC IT WORKED LOL ! So maybe I should’ve restarted the computer after making those changes lol idk 🤷🏾‍♂️ . But I’m happy now !

I have a Mackie Pro FX22v2 bro and im not sure I can use that for Logic Pro X so im thinking of Savin it for live streams, and recordings and all that good stuff. I want to get more into mixing, so im thinking of getting this same mixer to use with logic. I have an Apogee Element 88 (8 channel) as my interface with Scarlette Opto-Pre for another 8channels but I'm trying to learn wether a Behringer X16 or 32 (or anything) would work well in my home studio. I"m assuming it would help with monitoring, esp if I get the P16 intranet going but I don't want to bypass my interface. Split the signals? Or ..... Thats actually the boards default. The DAW recording will only process the pre amp.
