David Darst Glad I could help. I remember this info being pretty hard to find when I had to wade through it myself. Note the video is 2 years old as I write this...we’re still using this method and haven’t even touched it since I got it set up. It works very well.

@@dmeyer302 I may have jumped the gun (I was able to use your technique in the DAW to record from my stereo bus) however I hit a brick wall when it came to route my BUS output to our live stream. I am able to select my XUSB line in option on the PC but I still have no sound when selecting the source in my Broadcast software. I am using vMix to broadcast (I have also tried xSplit, OBS) with the same problem. I am able to pipe in a signal when I use the Monitor out L/R from the back of the X32 into my mBox but nothing when I select the XUSB from the X32. Any suggestions? Thanks brother.

@@DavidDarst I don't have the board in front of me but can you set a different P16 output? See 2:30 in the video and try the Main or a Matrix rather than a mix bus. This would tell you if all the other routing is good, particularly at the computer.

Also at that step make sure the Post Fader settings are what you expect (-> make sure your faders are up!)

@@dmeyer302 I used 4 per your example...but was wondering myself if #1 would be a default. So you are thinking try a matrix mix or the main L/R. I will do that. Are using the P-16 options the only way that you found it works?

I am trying to use the method you described, but it only let's me record channels 1 and 2 from board at one time. Any thoughts as to why that is?

What are your settings for Expansion Card 1-8 (1:20) and your P16s (2:30)?

@@dmeyer302 expansion card is set to p16 out 1-16. P16 set to direct out for each channel post fader 1-16

@@livinghope.communitychurch And what software are you recording to? I suspect your software is only looking for L/R (channels 1 and 2). This is why you need to run everything through a bus, and then make sure that bus is on P16 #1 and/or #2.

@@dmeyer302 ok I tried running each channel through a different mix bus, but my input in the my usb comes up as Behringer In 1-2. And I only have channels 1 and 2 coming on
