And we win everytime 💪🤓 Edit: Let's calm down, everyone. I know a lot of you are reacting strongly to my comment. It was meant to be SARCASTIC. Honestly, a lot of our older generation, who primarily rely on mainstream media, have a skewed perspective. They're constantly fed a narrative that paints a rosy picture of our lives compared to our neighbor countries. And they don't know that we're not as well-off as we think, that's what I'm talking about. Peace ✌️🕊️

The West has weaponized the narrative of only negative human rights, but those aware of the international law basis of human rights know that "positive human rights" such as not just what you mentioned but also right to food, employment, housing, health, education are also recognized human rights. Meanwhile US has a homelessness and healthcare crisis and it lectures the world on human rights, precisely because it relies on people's ignorance of the concept of human rights.

Desertification is real. And it also happens in tropical climates, just less intense. 😅 you can pay attention to city areas that have this funny dry vibe/feel. Look at the soil condition, think about how much rain washes off the organic matter from the soil. And you will begin to see why the decorative trees on the roadside look so weak. And when it doesn't rain the dust gets into the atmosphere when it rains the dust get into gutter. And if anyone wonder why flood seem more often, this is one of the reasons. 😊

I get your point. For example the Chinese high speed rail system loses an astronomical amount of money every year if you look at it individually. But as a whole, it will stimulate the economy and the benefits more than makes up for the loses, so the state will fund it as long as it makes sense for the bigger picture.

Well they have electric taxis, buses, normal cars, subways, high speed trains for transport. Then in many cities they plant 2M trees a year. The thing is when China sets clear goals , they actually achieve it, not like some govts and politicians it’d only talk. Reducing deserts, nuclear power away from coal , their huge power grid, it is a remarkable achievement while the country moves forward at lightning speed with technology- robots, drones, solar, electronics, EVs, high speed trains, very clean streets , very high public safety , incredible services like food delivery , cab hailing , 5G base stations , CCTVs - they have leapfrogged the West and US in every aspect.

@ The system is more capitalist than most countries lol. The govt is doing a great job , people’s standard of living has improved by miles , and their cities are at least 50 years ahead of the West. There are advantages of a one party govt if it is a responsible govt. , they can plan years ahead and make material changes to society and infrastructure. Ofc there are also drawbacks but the Chinese have shown the world they are brilliant at planning and execution. Why do you think a large majority of the ppl support the govt ? They can see their lives improving , their cities are more advanced in terms of infrastructure, public transport, communications, services, air pollution, clean and safe streets, abundant of food , a whole array of affordable electronics, clothing , luxuries. 30 years ago they only had bicycles , no TV, no fridge, no mobile, no computers, no smart door or toilet, power shortages, no connected gas line, no 5G , no green city, no electric buses or taxis, no good hospitals, lack of schools , everything was imported. Today they have everything. Go look at all the vlogs of foreigners visiting China, observe how free and happy the ppl are. How in awe the foreigners are. You can walk anywhere at anytime and feel perfectly safe. And the foods and restaurants available is immense and affordable. There was a South Korean visitor who couldn’t believe that an apple in Korea costs 10X more than in China and not even as good. That goes for almost everything else. It’s sad that foreign media paint such a dark picture of society in China, they are in fact living the good life free of crime, gangs, drugs. That is a fact and I’m not even a Chinese citizen.

Yes, certain things can be done easier and quicker in China than India due to political differences in governance. But that is only partly the answer to explain why China has been more effective at pollution control. I am tired of the government saying India is a democracy and things are messy and slow as an excuse for inaction. Using "democracy" to explain failure on pollution is like saying we have an inferior form of government that can't get things done. Is that what the government is saying here? Other democracies can get things done. Yet India can't? Let's face it, its more than just a matter of "democracy". It's a basic failure of governance to work for the people. Politicians prefer endless debates to action. Corrupt officials prefer to look the other way. And no coordination between different level of governments whatsoever. But no one wants to admit that...

What a blatant propaganda piece. Polluting industries didn't go away: they were merely relocated away from major cities. Still, good for their citizens living in major cities.

The strong Government does take necessary steps to curb pollution. In India the politicians are worried only about elections, giving freebies to voter banks and caste based politics to gain upper hand. No one is willing to think about welfare and betterment of the country over long term.

No one knows that it took China 300 billion dollars and time span of 5-6 years for a transformation like this ☠️ In India we can't afford this 300 billion is literally 10% of our economy. Also India is a democratic country, therefore for only implementing these decisions it will take 10-15 years in parliament debating Whereas in China, Decision making is done in months 🙂

Whenever there is a problem in India, the Indian government tries to stir up national sentiment by raising the Sino-Indian border issue to divert attention from India's domestic problems. If you draw a timeline and compare them, you can clearly see the correlation between India's domestic social events and the Sino-Indian border conflict. This has put India in a vicious cycle and greatly reduced the efficiency of the government. Unfortunately, there is no way to change it for quite some time.

Basic clean and hygienic footpath alone can reduce pollution dramatically. Cycle lanes are by far most important thing for india. Clean and closed Dustbin at every 100m and management of those Public awareness for not throwing litter Cycle lane and footpath Metro and highly effective city buses Can’t over people just think about it

They care. But they're also smart enough to know what is more important for them. An ideology without substances or a progressive society with visionary. You should act on your behalf, not to impress the so-called international society. That is what sovereignty means.

My friends in India: one simple and effective way to reduce air pollution is to minimize crop burning. I’ve been to India several times and the smell of burning was suffocating. There is no need for expensive clean technology, just stop burning crops. Things will at least better.

When I went to Beijing in 2023,there was still pretty significant, visible air pollution on most days, but when I came back in 2024, the air was so clear, I could not believe it. That's just 1 year of progress, imagine the things they can do in the next 10 years.

The history Bollywood won’t tell you:1. Around 1500 BC, the Aryans entered colonial India from the Khyber Pass and created the caste system; 2. At the end of the 6th century BC, the Persians defeated the Aryans and began to colonize India; 3. In 327 BC, the Macedonians Colonize India; 4. Beginning in the early 2nd century BC, Bactrian Greeks, Cypriots and Parthians invaded India; 5. In the 2nd century BC, the Yuezhi people who nomadically lived in the Hexi Corridor invaded India; 6. In the middle of the 1st century AD , the Kushan Xihou Tribe, one of the five Xihous of the Dayue clan, unified the five tribes and invaded India to establish the Kushan Empire; 7. In the 5th century AD, the descendants of the Central Asian Ser race and the Dayue clan of the Han Dynasty colonized India; 8 , from the 7th century AD, peoples dominated by Islamic culture began to invade India continuously; 9. In the 8th century AD, the Arab Empire occupied India; 10. In the 11th century AD, the Islamic Turks invaded India; 11. In 1526, the Mongols Colonized India and established the Mughal Empire; 12, the British...There is no India in the world, only colonies of the British Empire. India is the longest colonized region in the world, having been colonized for more than 2,800 years. Most Indians don’t even know where they are from when they look in the mirror. After the British left, they left behind beggars on the streets.
