Beijing International Airport, also known as Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA), is the primary international airport serving Beijing, the capital city of China. It is one of the busiest airports in the world in terms of passenger traffic and aircraft movements.
Terminals:
Terminal 1 primarily handles domestic flights, along with some international flights.
Terminal 2 primarily handles domestic flights.
Terminal 3 is the newest and largest terminal, handling both domestic and international flights. It was opened in 2008 for the Beijing Olympics and has since become one of the busiest terminals globally.

Hello, can I ask, if I am coming to Beijing and I have connecting flight to Chongqing (International to Domestic Transfer flight) do I have to go through all security checks in Beijing and also Claim my luggage or do I just transfer easily and do all security checks in Chongqing and luggage will also move automatically?

Hi there and thank you for reaching out! Kindly check with your airline regarding your baggages transfer! But for passport check, you should go through all security checks prior to boarding your domestic flight as you will be entering Chinese territory…

Hi there and thanks for reaching out! ☺️ Will your domestic transfer be in Beijing international airport? If it will be in Beijing international airport you should check your arrival terminal and also domestic terminal for switching! Maybe you need use internal transfer that is airport subway or bus! And it’s free! If your domestic transfer will be in another airport, you can take a taxi for going there! The taxi cost is same as Capital AirPort Express and subway!

Yes, they are! You should download the online Beijing taxi app!! Also, remember that it’s better not to pay more than app shows you because drivers will tell you, they don’t have money for exchange and they behave like someone who doesn’t know English!!
