Li Changgeng went to Huaguo Mountain and pretended to invite him to the peach banquet. Wukong came to the heavenly palace and learned from the fairy that he was not invited to the peach banquet. In a rage, Wukong made a scene in the yaochi lake and ate the golden elixir.
The Jade Emperor sent Erlang God to catch Sun Wukong. Because he ate the golden elixir, he had become a steel muscle and iron bone. Knives and guns can't hurt his body. The Jade Emperor sent him to the Eight Diagrams stove of the supreme old gentleman and burned him with fire. The monkey king still jumped out of the stove actively.
The heavenly palace concentrated its troops and fought with the monkey king under the leadership of King Li. Finally, he was defeated by the clever and Brave Monkey King.
Surrounded by the cheering monkeys, the monkey king sang a triumphant song and returned to the mountain successfully.
中国京剧传统剧目，原名《安天会》，又名《大闹天宫》，杨小楼代表作，现演出删去悟空被擒情节，并在国外演出。孙悟空到龙宫借用兵器，龙王对他十分藐视，骗他去搬动定海神针铁。不料孙悟空神通广大，把定海神针铁变为称手的兵器--金箍棒。
龙王悔恨，到天宫恳求玉帝捉拿孙悟空。李长庚献策招抚。把孙悟空骗到御马监养马。孙悟空识破秘密，大闹御马监，返回花果山，树立起“齐天大圣”的旗号。
李长庚再上花果山假意请他赴会蟠桃宴，悟空来到天宫，从仙女口中得知蟠桃宴并未邀请于他，悟空一怒之下，大闹瑶池，饱吃金丹。
玉帝派二郎神来捉拿孙悟空，因他食用金丹，已变成钢筋铁骨，刀枪不能伤身。玉帝又把他送到太上老君的八卦炉里，用火烧炼。孙悟空仍然活跃地跳出炉来。
天宫集中兵力，在李天王率领之下，和孙悟空大战。最后被机智而又勇敢的孙悟空打得大败。
孙悟空在众小猴欢呼簇拥之中，高唱凯歌，胜利回山。
