"Where does the kick drum go"? Ha. Eyyyy. As a drummer who's driven Mazda Miatas since 1993 ... here was my secret. "YOU TAKE THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OUT". Haha. And every drum every piece has its own specific place. Which is why you spent HOURS measuring, pre packing, rehearsing your load in, load outs (in the car) years ago. 😂

i mean, if you're gonna pay £200/300 for a cymbal, it pays to see how it sounds. and trust me, the last thing drummers want is more stuff to carry! and YES, you certainly do need to bring your own cymbals!

Drummers bring their own cymbals to gigs for good reasons. Zildjian hasn't made cymbals in Istanbul since the late 1970's. Haven't watch the full special, but so far it seems geared towards hobbyist drummers and isn't all that funny.

I do not agree with cymbals. The sound texture is just different with different cymbals. I like my own cymbals so much more than 90% of other cymbals. Otherwise I liked it.

@@bastlake I’m a musician and get all the “jokes”. They’re just not funny. Fred is super talented, but his stand up is too self indulgent and is also plain dull. You’d be lucky to smirk or mildly chuckle once or twice over the course of an hour.
