I would hate to consider having to build a career on a solo instrument nowadays. As an American, the country where classical music may be dying the fastest, I can say that my generation is perhaps the last to be able to say they made a career as a classical musician. In Europe, where there is still a culture of the classical arts, it is becoming a concern in many places as well. The fact that you must build a social media presence at the same time you are building your performing career is daunting. I have so much respect for the amount of effort you have to expend, and the success you are seeing.

Was nice to see how musicians must seek work these days. No mention of hoping for a recording contract etc.... How things have changed. Mind you, it's for the better because now people get to enjoy more musicians in the confort of their home and more classicals guitarists get to do what they love to do. (Assuming their ready to delve into the realm of the Internet).

I’m actually planning to stay independent from labels as long as I can. If you do things yourself you have the most artistic freedom to do things on your own terms, and you have much better profit margins too.

It certainly helps when you are beautiful, which you are. I started classical guitar classes a few months ago so I can appreciate the effort you put into your music to make it look so easy.

Well yes but beauty can only get you so far, if you build a career or prettiness it certainly has a strong limit

Great episode! The sound was much better. Do you have a sponsorship through D’addario or maybe Alhambra? Alhambra guitars come with D’addario strings. It would be nice to get a joint sponsorship from both companies. Just a thought. I’ve started following Iva on KZbin soon after I started following Bea and I started following Bea after I saw her on a Siccas episode, so platform’s are a great way to bring the classical guitar to the masses among other things.

What cameras and mics do you use for your channel conten?

Sony ZV E10 camera mostly, the mic here is a DJI mic 2 :)

It’s true when you guys were talking about KZbinrs that always show their cleavage in skimpy little outfits while they bounce around playing guitar. Absolutely 100% that it’s an issue with the female content creation community.

i think the problem is that people treat women in unfair and sexist ways. you can't blame the way people respond to women in social media on those who choose to capitalize on their looks.
