Being a Reaper OTP is PAINFUL in Season 9
This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
Being a Reaper OTP so far is PAINFUL in Season 9. Reaper feels better to play but it's still really tough to get value with him if your team doesn't work around him. He's a very situational pick. I wonder when the reaper rework will happen.
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 1900 hours and 800 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to his lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.
Sadly I don't have any codes for these games.

Ive been lowkey addicted to this game onetricking reaper before S9, but i straight up quit playing after like 15 hrs on reaper this season. I was a T500 reaper OTP before, and now every game is way more difficult. Its crazy how so many people, including top 50 streamers, say that reaper is better now because of this update, when in reality, he’s really situational now and all the new changes are a huge detriment to him and his playstyle. He might be good in low ranked lobbies, but in T500 lobbies hes straight ass. It sucks balls having the character i spent so much time playing and learning be in this state atm, but it is what it is. Im taking a break from the game for the first time in forever since its so unenjoyable now. This sht sucks for us reaper mains but youre a dawg for tryna keep playing and winning with him. Im golden and Belive on me: even in los ranks its difficult to be a main reaper. They always use sombra, tracer, genji, zen, lucio, Kiri, Window, almost every character is better than reaper today and its too much harder get closer than before and even more kill someone. Im not as good as you bro but its Hard

My god the hitbox changes makes reaper an easy target rn, I can't barely play him without getting constantly beamed. I'm a reaper main, he's the only character I can really one trick on. I don't think I can play the game ATM bc of the state he's in so I agree with you 100%

I main reaper as well, cant count how many times people just how much i get countered, its hard to play him effectively than people think, yes hes easy to use and the abilities are straight forward but to do well with him it all comes down to the team comp. You can flank, shoot the tank all you like but youll still get fucked over, if your out in the open you’ll just get sniped by a widow. Its just sad because i wish he had a rework, something just to make him slightly better but not really good to the point everyones playing him. You never see anyone playing reaper nowadays because he’s dog shit, coming from a reaper main. Im hard stuck plat and dont see myself climbing any time soon with reaper, yet QP is more sweaty so i avoid that.

Reaper is bad in metal ranks too, unless you’re bronze. But anything works in bronze

At first i thought Reaper was good, but after ranking back up I realized Reaper was dogshit. You get melted so fast, his shotgun dmg feels low and his ult is a throw. Tracer being OP also doesnt help our case

yeah Tracer and Sojourn being OP since SS1 they are always on the top of meta tier list no matter how Blizzard nerf them they will always on top of tier list especially Tracer she's always a great hero since OW1 every pros, must practice and learn how to play Tracer if they want to be OW E-sport player, she is a must learn hero for pros

Reaper is actually op this season prob in top 3 best dps I went from silver to gm on him alone in 3 days. You just flank and off angle constantly and you will win
