Seconding this. My husband is a super active runner and has been fine over all but never recovered his speed fully. His breathing just isn’t as efficient and it’s a problem is he gets sick again.

I was in a similar position with watch to 5k and had to take some time off, I repeated my previous week and by the end I was actually itching to go to the next week. I think it really helped for my confidence and my body to repeat instead of moving on and I am glad I did it and didn't just jump to the following week as planned!

I love the People Mover! Especially because I am a bit of a wimp about riding Space Mountain, so I love riding the People Mover during the Halloween or Christmas parties to see the overlay when it passes through that section!

Libby is so good for finding books for free! They always have a ton of books and audiobooks available. I live really close to two separate counties and have a library card from each county which definitely cuts down on wait times for popular books!

I think it’s so interesting to hear about the way the business side works, even though I know people often shy away from talking about money. But I don’t understand where the company’s money come from, for it to be enough to pay all the employees and buy in all the things you test etc. I don’t feel there is sooo many sponsorships, so how much must each pay (ish, I know that has to be kept secret per brand) for things to add up or make a profit?

@@hannaverlie6747 to put it simply, it means there is a pretty big “discount” on the items when all is said and done. Not free, and you do need the money up front to purchase the item, but whatever you spend on business expenses is subtracted from your taxable income.

I'm glad you're doing better! It's so great you can do all of this in isolation. I remember having Covid and being away from my husband and kid in isolation and all I could do was lay in bed, watch KZbin, and read. I got into Among Us because that was all I could do. I was traumatized from those 10 days and I had just started a new job it was terrible.

Currently also have COVID, very mild, just congestion and lost my sense of taste and smell. My dr told me paxlovid is only helpful in severe cases. Because it will cause rebound covid, to where you get it again a week later. It's awesome that you have the ability to quarantine away from family. My husband also got covid and still had to work every day and we still had to take kids to and from school.

Sierra, I know how bad covid is. My husband and I got it right when it came up, there wasn't even the vaccination back then. We both were in bed and our three kids were home and bored. Thankfully they were not as little as yours, teenagers. They could fix themselves something to eat. I'm glad you are better.

As a Peoplemover lover and former CM for it in MK, the track cannot sustain the ride in Disneyland anymore. It would need a major refurb that would shut down major portions of Tomorrowland for a long time. I would love to see it back but it would be a long hard road

Same where I am in Canada I don't think anyone tests anymore. I'm 90% certain we just had COVID. Toddler brought it home from daycare. Kids were fine in 24-48 hours... Husband and I have been sick for 10+ days 😅

Working out with Covid is wild I can’t imagine lmao I had a very very mild case when I got it, no cough no loss of smell/taste but I couldn’t exercise for MONTHS after 😩 I did like 9 squats one day and it felt like I had just sprinted a mile. Also I couldn’t drink coffee for months after too even just a few sips would have my heart racing and I’ve never been sensitive to caffeine. And people still say it’s “just a cold” Lmao 🙄

@@Laura-ul8sb there's still a chance she's shedding residual virus at that point, rapid tests have a high false negative rate for this variant, plus since it was so close to when she was symptomatic. And even if she is truly negative, wearing a mask for a few days is incredibly easy and does no harm, so why not be extra cautious? There's no reason not to, especially since she already went through the effort to protect them while symptomatic.

I would encourage you to look up the scientific literature on masks, they very much offer statically significant protection in every single study they are tested in.

Alice is 6 months old so we want to keep her away from sickness when we can, especially Covid. When Stephen had it a few months back we were successfully able to keep both kids from getting it by him isolating for 5 days, and now that strategy has worked for us twice so given us both having flexible work schedules / working from home, it was doable for us and worth it!
