thanks for another great set of images, Jason. They really do inspire me to go out and keep trying. As for "cheating" by moving the tree branch, who cares?. If you had moved it off-camera, no-one would have known anyway. It not like you broke the branch off a tree just to put it I the water. The first image is definitely my favourite - I love the branch leading you right into the image. Thanks again,Jason.

I agree. Really enjoy the vlogs but was surprised a branch was moved to create a scene. Landscape photographers appreciate and promote the natural world. The moss on the branch shows the branch had been in place for some time. Moving it disrupts the surrounding eco-system which includes plants and insects.

Stunning photos Jason! Really inspiring. Just purchased a new ball head to fit my L-bracket (not a cheap mistake to make), but I can't wait to get out and shoot some more!

Very creative thinking! I would need to stop a car on the road above and ask to give me a hand with the first composition though. But the image is very nice! Thank you :)

Another great vlog Jason always look forward to your next instalment love the down to earth “ don’t wanna end up on me arse “ or words to that effect statement that are in your vlogs. Oh and the images are rather good. What “L” bracket have you got fitted to your canon.

Paul Brown it's a cheap L bracket of eBay costs around £15 does the job :)

Thank you for the wonderful teaching videos, its not cheating , its using the resources available at the site , rearranging things like nature is doing can you please make one video from taking the image till processing it with your workflow, because the camera does not pick what you have seen , and processed afterword specially when you show the final image

Hi Jason, thank you for the video shows what a little imagination can produce. I wouldn't call it cheating just manipulation.

I am not comfortable with rearranging the landscape, you're upsetting the homes of small creatures. Luke Austin composites, Paula McCartney sometimes constructs landscapes in the studio. There are some videos about her and what she does. You can find Luke's photography online, I don't know of any discussion about it.
