I'm learning Japanese everyday, currently on 178 streak on Doulingo, Japanese is really hard, but I love it so much that I keep working on it, it's just great to speak it, listen to it, and read it. I felt for your story because I was you 2 years ago before I left the work that I took time to built. Basically, from then, I hate everybody around me, I canceled every phone calls, every invitation, not because I want to be disliked, but I Choose, I choose to not go there, it was so scary the first year. I don't get any new friends, I cancel them out so they don't talk to me anymore, but I keep one person to talk to which is my family. When I get bored from cancel people out, I just go back to society again, and guess what, I didn't die, I didn't get cancel by the people around, they don't even care that I was matter. I realized one thing, nobody care about your hard work unless you get the result. The 1 year that I was isolated I read so many tutorials, books, podcast, singing lessons, drawing lessons (I borrow my family moneys btw, but I get the job later so I paid them all back off). The moment I learned everything by myself, I have this understand that whatever people said doesn't matter because I get so smarter from just isolation, do you want to get smarter? The only way is to stay from large group, and then you will feel the real 'Disliked' from people when you comeback, because you really are smarter now, you can really live the life you want. That is me typing this, I decided to leave my computer job for 12 hours a day doing VFX to become a teacher, which also paid but don't required to party, drinking, stupid feedback (I called everything stupid back then because I was young but now, all of the experience was amazing, which make me who I am today). So what's the lesson here, going drinking is great, going party is great, but it's for celebration, if you don't celebrate anything, then what's the point of going. Secondly, you get dislike in Japanese society is deadly, good, learn to be alone, you will be alone when things collapsed, but inside the aloness there is really a real you, really come from my heart that saying, the real you, because never before in the million years, there will be another you, the Universe put you on this planet with a unique seat just for you, nobody can replace that seat for you. Anyway you English is very good, straight forward, easy to understand, keep making video, cheers

Hi! I just wanted to advice you about something here: You can be self - centered and confident without being "hated" the thing is just to not care very much about others opinions. I just dont say to not care at all because sometimes you can take that opinion and use it as a feedback to become better in some aspect. The secret is to know when the comment from the other has no more intention than harming so you can ignore it, and when it is a genuine opinion that you can use for your personal growth. Last thing: don't rely all of your life aspects in just a book with a det of ideas, because it can lead you to be very close - minded. Also, try not to "regret" when you do something that weren't in your set of ideals, because in life a lot of things don't go as planned. About that 3000 Yen that you spent, instead of regreting, try to remember the happiness you felt after doing that, because if you do something and the whole feeling is ruined by regret, even the feeling that you were triyng to achieve by doing that is canceled by your anger with yourself for not following your rules. Try to live the "now" and to not be angry about what happend in the past, instead remembering the joy you felt at that moment and focusing on the present and enjoying it. Thank you for reading!🎉

Keep being strong and do the things only for yourself. YOU GOT THIS!! 🥰🥰Always remember to be your authentic self!! ---- I'm sorry you go through that with your work peers. 7:26 By synchronising, do you mean that people in Japan must think alike to be accepted? As in, it is bad to have an opinion if you are in a group setting because you kind of have to agree with everybody even though you have to suppress your opinions.

@@bluebirdyoftheeast Thank you very much for your comment! In Japan, having different opinion and telling it makes the other think this person doesn't like me or is troublesome. But depends on the person.

i feel you man. i can tell that things are difficult. there are too many rules to follow. build your own moral compass, self independent thinking, and confidence is very important. liked and subscribed. 俺はお前を信じています!
