I want people to understand that disability payments alone are not enough to live on and should be increased substantially. I live in a town where I can't get an apartment for less than a thousand dollars and I only get a little over 1100 dollars every month. If I work at all they say that that is evidence that I can work so they can lower my payments. I used to have food stamps but that was slowly reduced over time even though I had not worked and my expenses had not decreased. They stopped because the government wants to pay as little as they can even if that means that we have to make hard decisions.

One day I was telling my supervisor what the manager had said about my kids. And she was not surprised & told me that, she of all people shouldn’t say sh^t like that, as she later had a child with disabilities. Karma is a bitch isn’t it! Hopefully it taught her a lesson. If you are you are deemed an employee then yes you do have to show the physical SS card, it is part of the I9 process. However, if you are deemed as a independent contractor you do not need to show a card, you just need to fill out a W9...The IRS will jump on him and his state will audit him... they go back three years, so good luck with that Sir. He should have just paid him and moved on. When you start to nit-picking and bulling, this is what happens, your behavior gets called out.
