My daughter never crawled; she scooted and rolled to her destinations. She started walking at 14 months. i was so scared that there was something wrong, but she did things on her own time. And her doctor said she was developing fine. Every child is different when it comes to milestones. Just remember when people say your child "should be" doing things at this point, that is just the average.

My son is a little over 9 months Old, he started crawling at Line 7-8 months.. they start to crawl between 8-10 months Old :) make tummy time fun for her, show her her favorite snacks, get some toys that Can roll around that shes interested in. And always remember babies develop at different times. She May be a slow learned at somethings and a fast learner at other things. Most important part is that shes getting lots of love and is not being pushed to far too fast 🥰 You are very welcome to send a message if you ever need some advise or something. Our children af so close to age so i Can might come with some tips and tricks (it was me who suggested the prune food to help with the tummy and pooping)

My opinions since you asked: For her first birthday, don't go overboard, just family, cakes, (a little one for Starr to devour) and one for the others. You are right, she will not know what is going on or remember. For milestones, I suggest talking to her baby doctor, because you will get a hundred different ideas from us. Basically babies will do what thay want when they want. Don't rush her. Make tummy time a game, put a toy or the phone on the ground in front of her, slide it away, bet her little chunky behind will scoot forward trying to get it. As many have said every child develops differently… Check with your pediatrician and just watch her progress to ensure there’s no developmental delays. I know as parents we be anxious & excited to see their milestones and them progress to the next level but just enjoy each stage and don’t rush the process…. ☺️Once she progresses she’s gonna be on the move and y’all will be running & chasing after her as she explores! 😂

Some babies don't crawl until after they start walking, but stick her on the floor any free time you have that you can watch her, if she gets fussy get down and play with her, use one of her toys to get her to inch forward a little bit at a time. Alot of kids by 9mths are standing up holding onto the couch or anything else the can hold onto. Have you got her a walker or a play gym she stands in to help her straighten her legs? Also walking around with her walking while your holding her hands etc.

I have 2 children, they are 4 yrs apart. When my little ones where 6 and 2 we took them to Disney in Florida. They had an amazing time but, my youngest complains still today @ 17 yrs. because she doesn't remember. Like Jade I thought we can tell her about our amazing time and show pics. My little one says it isn't the same. So I truly believe to wait until your babies can form memories. It was so much fun, you never want them to forget!

Also please don’t worry even if she doesn’t walk by the time she has her first birthday ITS DEFINITELY OK every child does it at the their own time it doesn’t make her slow none what so ever. There are a lot of babies who will skip crawling and go straight to walking. Most babies do crawl by 9 months but it’s not a necessary milestone that needs to be met in order for your baby to be on target with growing and learning. She will learn at her own pace, but a little tough love won’t hurt. Fussing while tummy time is in the process won’t hurt her it allows independence to start because she will start to do new things and she will be happy when you praise her.

As a mom of 5 & a set of twins every child moves at their own pace just advice but do what works for your fam 1st I would suggest stop picking her up too much when she cries,.....keep in mind that your fam will watch her 1 day! & other ppl probably won't hold her like you do! So crying is ok just not for long periods of time & ensure her that you are there (this helps to break the fake cry). Ol skool trick blanket on the floor & not picking her up to let her explore on her own is a good idea roll a ball to her or put colorful loud toys on the other side of the blanket so her goal is to get to them! Toys that walk or move so she can follow along & catch it is helpful as well....1st born children etimes don't move fast unless they are in daycare or having siblings around or cousins, they watch other kids & want to mimic them other than that they are watching us & most of the time we are sitting or standing....we are not crawling or running everywhere.....by 9 months she should be holding objects such as her bottle, toys etc. & she should be reaching encourage her by holding things out for her to grab don't just put things in her hand..it's up to you of course you guys are the parents but the push & walk toy is good at this time ....& plenty of reading 📚 & music & that's all I have for 9 months...you guys are doing fine continue to pray for her & each other like you been doing, love on her & keep her laughing remember every child/ person is diff.! My son actually started walking at 9 months honestly as a nursing student you don’t want to rush baby! It’s super normal if she doesn’t crawl and straight walks however I would start putting things in front of her, I would keep her mobile rather than holding her a lot let her get fussy and fight through

It's actually better for her to fight through the fussing when doing tummy time because when she's getting fussy she's stiffening her core which is making it stronger 💪my baby hated tummy time so I hated putting him through it but his Dr showed me that when he fussed it made his core strong which he was right he started crawling at 10 months started walking at 11

1. Let her cry through the tummy time. She will stop. 2. Put a toy out for her to reach and sit down and talk and play with her while she starts trying to crawl. 3. Feel free to help her move her legs or put her in the crawling positions so she practices the position. 4. My kids both walked by 8 months. So she should be at-least trying to move around even if it’s military style. ( but don’t fret if she behind) 5. Doctors will take notice if she isn’t walking by 1 and she doesn’t have any health concerns. 6. She is a beautiful little girl and enjoy every moment with her. 7. No party. Upland, CA ..its about 25 min from LA with no traffic. Up to an hour with traffic. It's not as expensive as LA, but is more expensive than Henderson. It's near Ontario Mills and Victoria Gardens, the school district is good and really anything you can think you want or need is within minutes. The beach is 45 min, Big Bear for the snow is about an hour, San Diego is about 1hr and 45 min. It's central to alot and its a beautiful city.

Hey there. 3 boys here...our boys got tablets around 18 months. We limit screen time and read to them a lot. Now our oldest two read 2-3 grade levels higher than their actual grade. To help with crawling, put something she loves across the room from her. Also give her lots of floor time. You can do little fun exercises with her legs and arms too. Is Star around other babies? Babies often learn from watching other children. Continue to be patient like you said and keep loving on her. It will happen in time 🙂 Enjoy it because once she is mobile it's a whole new ballgame. Shout out to Detroit...it was too cold for me so I chose ATL.

Hey you guys, she’s getting so big and as always so adorable. My grandsons are 79 and they have had tablets for as long as I can remember. My daughter and son-in-law entertained them when they were her age with the phone and then by the time they were two they had a tablet and knew how to use it better than me. It’s a parents personal choice, but Walmart has amazing inexpensive android tablets that are perfect for children. My daughter gets them new ones every Christmas they’re like $50 apiece. Baby girl will move around in her own time. Just let her sit up and play on the floor a lot with the phone, remote baby wipes etc. Dont pick her up and hold her too much. Dont go by milestones just let her do her own thing. Every baby is different. Both my baby girls 2 under 2 moved around on their own at different ages.

Babies go at their own pace. There are no set guidelines. My grand babies are not walking and they are 1 today and 16 months. The 16 month old just cut teeth at 13 months and now at 16 months she has 4. The one year old just has 2 teeth and not walking. Don’t worry. They will get where they need to be when it’s time for them to be there. All milestones are different for everyone. Love y’all.

Hi my baby is 3 mons behind yours but ill give my advice a bit, im single mom of 3 btw With ipad i would not start to early with this i let mines watch once in a while but its my own ipad. Tummy time could start as early as 2 mons. My baby barley started loving her tummy time, its good for head support but mines use to cry and even 3 to 5 mins a day goes a long way so if my baby would cry on tummy id pick her up bc it was straining her out. Once the baby starts rolling over trust the process she will start loving the tummy time. Its good star knows how to sit, some babys dont crawl and go straight to standing, all babies are different so for milestones you can find some cool youtubers that breaks those down but if anything is a bit alarming don’t hesitate to talk with her dr. My baby has a head shape flat and her eyes shake very bad and is now being referred out. Good luck all the new parenting along the way :)
