Completely relate...grew up being told how ugly I was throughout my life which scarred me throughout school and led me to have severe mental health issues. People have no idea how terrible it is. I know people that are worse than me but it doesn't help. The teasing and bullying was not so bad as I got older but I was already mentally damaged. People don't realise how hard and how damaging it can be. Say all you like about being a good person or whatever but society doesn't work like that. People don't give you a chance to get to know them. And people say it as a joke but it is only a joke to them. I think you can be very vulnerable to abuse and exploitation because you are desperate for genuine love and attention. Thank you for this video and your courage to do it

Honestly bro I got my own things about myself I don’t like a lot but I’m relatively happy with my looks. However I’ve never looked at anybody as ugly or less attractive. Looks are an opinion and you’ll be surprise how many girls find your look attractive as long as your confident and put out the energy that you like your appearance. Remember don’t feel sorry for yourself about your looks. They’re fine and if anyone’s judging you on your looks than that’s not a person you need in your life. As well as this take care of your looks with skin routines, hair styling and or other methods because a lot of guys actually do this and a girl likes when a man takes care of his looks and hygiene even if they aren’t “stereotypically” attractive.

“looks dont matter” -every attractive person ever edit: I see a lot of confusion based on what my comment is all about. My main point was, when someone is unattractive, objectively speaking (asymmetry, height, and other unchangable things)they suffer through a lot of harsh social experiences that attractive people would most likely not go through. Its only natural for these people to think that looks aren’t important since they’ve never had problem with it, that ignorance is what im trying to convey people saying theres many more things than looks: i couldn’t agree more. I completely support people who strive for self positivity when it comes to things they cannot change about themselves, ie, any disability, height, asymmetry in their body. There are factors of your looks you can change like clothing style and weight, these are things that should be focused on, what can be changed about yourself so that you see yourself in a more positive light. There are many more things than looks but looks decide your view of yourself and other people, so using an excuse to say looks aren’t that important is just plain untrue. i hope this clears out any confusion. Love yall. One tip for everyone. start watching this self improvement youtuber Hamza. He has a harsh way of giving advice but if you’re willing to accept your flaws and change yourself for the better, his wisdom will make you go far in life for sure

Yeah,it does.I remember I was in grade 9 when boys started to ask all the girls in the class if they have a boyfriend but when it came to me they laughed me out,I felt so upset and shocked at the same time and learners tell me harsh stuff and I can sense they treat me like an outsider now today I have no friends and I'm gonna quit that school I can't take it anymore,I'm currently in grade11 I went through enough peer pressure and relational bullying and now I'm suffering from severe depression and anxiety and I have to take pills all because I don't fit in I don't even look ugly from my perspective all the nasty things they said about me and my 'friends' gossiping behind my back it took a heavy toll on me ,I even ate my lunch once in the rain alone because of all the shit at that school . You know, my husband of 24 years was told that he was ugly by his own aunts. He was also bullied because he was shorter than other kids his age. He's from Mexico and he and his parents and one sister at the time(7 of them now) moved into a little town and even adults bullied him. He worked in farm labor by his own choice at the very young age of 8. He got so sick and tired of how he was treated that he filled a sack with dirt and stated learning how to punch. He started fighting back... To me he's handsome and I couldn't be any happier. I met him when we were 18 at work and we married at 20. These same aunts now tell him he's handsome but that's besides the point because his heart is pure gold❤
