Yo i just realised the length of the video is 8 mins, but it didn't seem like it, great job at the pacing, the editing skills are getting way better then the old videos, love seeing the process,

In the midst of all the chaos outside regarding the college admissions this was really helpful & I strongly agree having a specific superpower is truly necessary. Not to mention the IKIGAI method of finding that superpower for me my thing was scientific research & I was investing my time into it but recently I'm kind started to be worried & I'd appreciate it if you could help me with this : -scientific reaserch is my thing but what if thousands of other students are also into it? Wouldn't that make me no special just like the valedictorian case? Wasn't I supposed to choose something different instead of something I love? What if scientific research is not considered as an activity Isn't it like studying? & in this case I'll be just like the valedictorian case with high GPA's & published resacech but no activity? - also when u mentioned that artist example it made me think that's awesome! Making drawings & donating them to the children hospitals is awesome I felt that scientific research was useless compared to that. I mean, scientific research has no direct impact on others compared to that. If the admissions team were to choose between me and someone who did something like that, wouldn’t they have an advantage over me even though we both did what we loved? -lastly, can you give me some good examples of of things that I can do to have that impact jus like that example u mentioned "something unique in addition to founding a research organization & conducting few research at the medical school of one of the prestigious Universites in my country"?

our school had 8 valedictorians this year and 8 in the running for next year (we have unweighted GPAs) having a 4.0 alone doesn’t mean you’re the smartest or the most qualified at my school. there are so many brilliant kids who got a B in AP chem but valedictorians who didn’t even attempt AP chemistry.

Hi, I’m about to finish a master’s degree in psychology at Harvard. Would you say similar rules apply. Having good grades in undergrad is not enough to get into an Ivy grad school????

Great question! It is quite similar in the sense that as long as you have a competitive enough GPA, it's all about those extracurriculars that separate you from the rest. Hope that helps!
