August 2020 marked a turning point in Lebanon. The devastating blast in Beirut, one of the largest non-nuclear explosions in history, continues to impact the city and its people to this day. Three years on, Abir Saksouk, Co-Director of Public Works Studio, shares her work on including sustainable and inclusive principles to the rebuilding process to ensure long-term equitable access to housing.
