love this, i’ve just started using brushes after exclusively using beauty blenders for years

I love my beauty blender too! But brushes are great for when I’m feeling too lazy to wet my sponge 🥲

Thank you for taking the time out to give us an in depth review of each brush. Which are your favorite brushes in each category?

Thanks for these videos Bekah. I think I have many of these brushes. This will teach me how to value them a little more and where potential gaps are in my collection. Thanks for the clothing store recommendation too. Ended up picking up 4 pieces from there too 😮

I’ve had my eye on that Phytosurgence brush for a while… I may have to cave and pick it up.

Amazing video Bekah, I’ll probably purchase the Sephora 56 & the Sonia G buffer. I can’t get my Chantecaille powder to work on me so I’ll give it a try with that brush and wait for the magic 😊 When you talked about the Rephr brush you showed a video of yourself using it, this smokey eye makeup look is everything 😍 Do you have a tutorial on that one? I thought I had watched all your videos 😂 Love from Australia xx

Hi Bekah! I was wondering if you have any other brushes that work well with Phytosurgence’s Spectral Shine balms if you have any of those lying around? I know the Skybuff brush was specifically designed with Spectral Shine in mind, but I’m interested in BK’s brush range and was wondering if their 101/109 might be structured enough to serve that purpose? I have a Wayne Goss 13 that I use for everything cheek-related but it’s a bit too soft and flexible to pick up the dry, densely-packed formula of Spectral Shine efficiently
@Bekah_Sun Жыл бұрын
I think the BK Beauty brushes are probably a little too soft for the spectral shine formula. If I use other brushes for those, I usually go for smaller, stiffer synthetic eye brushes like my real techniques or ecotools. The stiffness is really key!

@@Bekah_Sun got it! Thank you so much ☺️ it’s so funny that stiffer synthetic bristles-typically called out in face brush reviews as less desirable-can be so key to particular types of application!

YES YES YES! I embarked on the journey towards better make-up brushes last year thanks to you and a few other make-up artists and the difference ✨!! Love the Rephr brushes and now BK beauty one I have - I think it needs some friends - I was also *so* excited when Sephora finally came to the UK bc I knew of the 56 brush you were recommending but I never find it in stock 😅 I know I am picking up the Merit brush when they launch in the UK this week We *need* eye brushes because I am never sure what to use with cream eyeshadows - it seems silly to use Rephr bc they are more delicate 🥺 so KJH spectrum for now it is
