When you mention this 'gets you away from the hustle and bustle'...do you find the resort view rooms quieter than the water/lagoon view rooms? Travelling with young kids that may need to nap :p

I think it depends! Water views are typically on the quieter side, but if my resort view had been facing the main pool and lawn area, it would have been much louder.
