My husband and I went to WDW this past January without our 3 kids. I was NOT expecting to miss my kids as much as I did. And I'm not the kind of parent who LOVES to be around her kids 24-7. They go visit grandparents for a week and I don't miss them. But we both missed our 3 kids so much. I actually started crying when we walked in to MK the first morning of our trip.

I don't have a problem eating by myself but I am not a big eater, more of a snacker, but I do love a good breakfast so I am trying to decide if I want to do a breakfast sit down or not.

This was a fun vlog! Isn’t the luxuriating the best part of a solo trip?! Sitting and taking in the atmosphere. Going this Sunday for a split stay at Riviera and Bay Lake Tower. First stop will be the Brown Derby Lounge for lunch. That was my home park when I worked Guest Relations. I agree that it is beautiful at night. 💫🤩🎆⭐️💛

I just wanted to say how much I love your content. I recently discovered your channel, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. OMG I had no idea there were buses that go in brwn parks! What a game changer for park hopping! I always thought you had to go to a resort first and then take a bus to the next park. Thank you for teaching me this ! ❤

Also meant to say-I don’t have kids but I travel with friends, and I had the same reaction you did. Really nice to be able to just sit. On my first solo trip. I grabbed a snack, sat near the castle for about an hour-just listening to the Philharmonic, a stage show, and people watching of course.

I always go solo I never been there at night cuz I always go back about 5 or 6:00 to go to the pool but I like to go there at night next trip I do like to take an afternoon break and go to the pool go back at night

I don't know about a 25 minute wait for a single pass LL that usually runs in the $20/ride price range. The ride while fun is literally like 70 seconds. I have to say it's just not a ride I do everytime I go to MK and I'm a solo park traveler. I just can't justify paying for the LL for it and I'm not waiting more than 30 minutes for it. If I do it I usually wait until the end of the night. 🤷‍♀️ Glad you got a chance to enjoy some solo time in the parks. I never feel weird about solo traveling, but it might just be my generation. I'm a Gen X'er and we generally don't care what others think/feel with very few exceptions. 😂 Once you've been a latchkey kid who had to learn to make dinner for yourself by the age of five very little phases you.
