I would guess it’s just a safety issue being as they are more spaced out, being a female alone would make me feel uneasy walking around such a large property… especially with all resorts having exterior entrances verses a hallway in a deluxe. French Quarter is very small so you’re never too far away from the main building although they also have exterior doors.

I live 40 minutes away from Disney and have an annual pass and I never go by myself! You're making me wanna spend a solo morning there while the kids are at school lol! Disney with kids is great, but it would be nice to go and do my own thing!

Had my first solo Disney trip in March and it was the best trip ever! I am so happy that you got to take the time for yourself. I went with a plan, but honestly the best part was changing my mind and doing things on a whim. Truly a magical experience!

I was there on the 30th too for my first solo trip!! On the Mears shuttle a dad with two kids said, “I could never do a solo trip, I’d feel so selfish”. I thought, “Good thing I’m not you then”.

I don't have children, but I feel guilty leaving my cats and my partner takes care of them when I do solo trips 😂 My solo trips are only 1-2 days because of that but I'd love to go longer.

I do solo trip to Disney every year. It is the best because you can do whatever you want. Eat whatever you want. French quarter is my favorite. It’s quiet and close to Disney spring. Last year tried value resort pop century and I was surprised by it. I always do mears shuttle and have really liked it.

Agree with you on the must do target run, wearing a jacket or something with sleeves on an airplane and tracking time backwards to determine when you need to leave! They all just make sense 😂

So glad you stayed in a moderate! I've been waiting for this. Didn't know you didn't care for moderate because the rooms open to the outside. We had the same building as you when we were there before covid. The new rooms are so nice, and the tiles in the bathroom? Wow! Booked POR a couple days ago for May.
