BEKO Washer-Dryer doesn’t work. The Tumble Dryer section not heating up. How to reset the sensor?

In the today’s video I will show how to save money on fixing your Beko washer dryer, when dryer function is disabled. This could happen when you didn’t used your machine as dryer for a while. Easy repair. I hope you will find useful.

Hey, thanks for the tip, it really saved me some time and money! I wanted to open up the heating chamber itself to clean the lint while I'm at it but I am having trouble lifting the upper half with all screws off. Is there some trick I'm missing? Searched all over the internet and could not find a guide for it to save my life

Hi Teodor, May the heating chamber is not available to take apart. Not all model’s chamber is same.

@@georgesworkshop8600 Yup, that turned out to be the case. On my model, the entire chamber has to be lifted off and you gain access to the condenser and can clean it properly. Still, thank you for the video, made me figure out how I can take care of that pesky issue myself. Cheers!

Hello, thank you for this video and this tip! I have the beko HTE7613YBST washer-dryer model. Does this tip also work for this model? Do all the Beko models work in the same way? As for me, I always use the wash/dry cycle (never the wash only cycle), and sometimes at random (often in winter), the dryer no longer works (the laundry comes out wet, the temperature doesn't seem to rise). It seems that if I run wash only cycles again, the problem is solved for a while...

Hi Guillaume, These intermittent errors are the most difficult to diagnose. Not all Beko works same. I assume the trick from this video won’t work in this case. Sorry I can’t help more without checking.

@georgesworkshop8600 I have one of these Washer Dryers and I've noticed on the dryer function now I'm getting a buzzing noise when it starts, plus it doesn't appear to be putting water through the dispensor any more at regular intervals. Any ideas? The drum is getting warm, but I don't think it's as good as it what it used to be. Is the buzzing noise likely a capacitor issue? Would pressing the two buttons on the thermostats have any effect in this instance? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Robbie, As the most people don’t use regularly the dryer function on their washer/dryer a common issue could appear. If you remove the top of your machine you will see a little fan, like an umbrella. Start a drying programme and check is this fan spinning? Most of the time this fan’s bearing has stuck. If you hear from there that buzzing noise you found the problem. Can help if you turn this fan by hand carefully and will spin then well. I hope you can fix it.

There must be a reason why the sensor tripping. May need to replace it, but a good clean is always recommended.
