Thank you so so much for your wonderful teaching video on how to use the Beko washing machine. I’ve had a horrible top loader for a decade and finally have enough room for a normal sized washing machine again. Everything’s changed over the years and after buying my Beko, I couldn’t work out the instructions! It all seems complicated - I think it’s because I’m much older now😂 Anyway, I came to your channel because I find your gentle unbiased and beautifully presented videos are so helpful. The camera is steady, there’s no loud unnecessary rock music crashing around while you’re speaking and you give time to each thing I wanted to find out about. It’s all unhurried and actually quite restful to watch! No need for the meditation video now 😅 Anyway, Im about to strip the bed sheets for my first wash - thanks to you, I feel confident I’ve understood the basics. I really do appreciate all your hard work and your beautiful calm voice. Thank you so much x

I've just bought the 6kg version of this, as my old Haier machine (also 6kg) packed up recently after 15 years, so I wanted a cheap/cheerful replacement. I got it from an independent retailer. £259 fitted and the old one taken away. My first impressions were how small it is. The drum seemed tiny, but it's tall and fitted a good sized load in, no issues. I've only done two washes, thus far, but it's performing beautifully. I wanted a Quick Wash function, but I am now planning to use the longer washes and hope, that with the extra rinses, it'll help with dry/itchy skin. I only ever used the Quick Wash function on my old machine. If I *do* use the Quick Wash, I'll be sure to add an extra rinse anyway!
@ilfred68575 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, this is a great washing machine. With excellent performance. First of all it loads the right amount of water during the main wash, and above all it loads the right amount of water, during rinses (which is fundamental, to eliminate all traces of detergent on the clothes). Excellent basket rotation at every stage of the program. I would say that it has many similarities with Philco washing machines, (made in Italy) I mean the old Philco models. And also the aesthetic line of the glass porthole, reminds me very much of the Philco.

Personally I think it doesn't have enough water in at any times. Also I hate the fact it starts to spin the drum before the clothes are even wet usually.causing the pods I always use to get stuck in between the rubber in the front and I always end up adding more water manually.

Hey roger. I have a Blomberg machine ( made by beko ). Have to admit it’s one of the very best machines I’ve ever had. Had miele before and it was awful. The wash performance of the miele was crap. Bearing in mind I never use quick wash ( it’s the devils program) I’m very very very obsessive about my laundry. Miele came out and reprogrammed it giving it longer wash times and higher rinses but it still couldn’t get sunscreen out my white t-shirts after a holiday at 60 and 90 degrees. The blomberg gets rid of it every time first time with Daz powder. I love my machine Our beko fridge/freezer is around 18 years old now. When you go to Turkey everything is made by beko. I was so surprised to see beko card readers in the shops at the checkout.
@audreyfforbes-hamilton5 жыл бұрын
I’m quite impressed with that, I would never have considered a Beko machine, I’ve had Bosch ones for years but I thought it gave quite a solid performance. As you say, if you are in the market for a budget appliance, this would be worth considering.

I hate brushed washing machines because they make a lot of noise and because they use more energy than a brushless motor. I'm more of the brushless motors. a brushed motor uses around 110w while washing, maybe 150-170 while spinning and the heating element is rated at 1800W, which is used to heat the water. so it's not that much energy really... The motor warranty on brushless is crap, e.g. on LG they use a plastic piece to hold the motor onto the shaft, after much use it gets worn, guess what, its not part of the motor, no warranty in that. It has hall sensor to detect motor speed, it breaks quite often, guess what, no extended warranty on that. What you dont know is that the mainboard and motor have protections, such as overcurrent, imbalanced load etc, so motor going out is very rare event. So they cover something that they know it wont break. They could offer same on brusher motors, even those have thermal, overcurrent and heavy load protections. What can break is: mainboard, ball bearings, pump, solenoid valve for water. Oh, and the mainboard is covered with a resin, to make it waterproof, so have fun repairing that. Not to mention in 3 years the model is obsolete, you cant find replacent board.
