I have two, I've had one for 9 years , maybe 10 , and it's doing great. The other one is 1 year old, no problems with that either. People just need to care for them when they use them, use the correct bags & filters etc. Good vacuuming cleaners imho.

Their the dictionary definition of why miele cleaners need genuine bags only. Other vacs get away with pattern stuff but not miele, and they run so much better with genuine bags it's not worth the cost vs the eventual hassle

Thank you again for my hose!!! They are a brilliant work horse but as you said Hose goes baggy and splits and at £100 a go is a very expensive repair. Had mine 10 years and this is the second replacement!!

I usually see plenty parts on eBay? Also have no problem taking them apart, can get to the motor in about 10 mins lol

Yea I just couldn't be bothered to strip to down... I don't find them that easy still (only done 2 motors...) and had nothing to replace it with either (and there were none on ebay when I looked, sods law if there are some now 😂)

I like my Miele S7260 and think that they are decent vacuum cleaners, but I agree with you they are a nightmare to repair and I’ve found that when they go wrong most of the time they go wrong big time and spares are like hens teeth. Just out of curiosity, Is this the same cleaner who gave you the 2 Miele S5210’s to fix because they were used with non genuine bags and the dust wrecked the motor?

with vacuum cleaners costing as much as what these did when they were new in the shops why would you use pattern bags in them and the genuine ones

I’d love one of those but not if it’s going to turn out lie that 😂
@beko19873 жыл бұрын
Their annoying, got to hear them run to be sure, which isn't always practical on a £30 vac off Facebook...

Great example of why you do not buy this vacuum used unless you're ready to invest some money.

Or at least hear it run before handing over cash. Their worth investing in if their good runners, and tbh a service box doesn't cost much (guess brushrolls etc are quite common in the US? Can be hard to find the parts in the UK, we don't have a great spares network, usually just miele direct)

Miele's are deathly allergic to anything but expensive Miele bags -- By design maybe? While Numatic's can go on years without bags.

I couldn't get away with my miele cat and dog version give it away miele should stick with bagged cylinders and do away with bagless versions no wonder they weren't on the market long
