Belarus 920 Tractor electrical repair and look around with the opinions of the owner:- basically an inexpensive and easy to repair with basic tools so if your handy you have half a chance of fixing it yourself, some good features for the price...low fuel use, good cab and well thought out positions of the controls etc.
The electrical repair is typical with slightly older tractors, plant, cars in fact anything with 12/24V volt electrics...always have a good look at all the wiring terminations they must be really clean and sound.....not burnt or heated up or corroded.... replace if they are, the lower the voltage the higher the current hence why 24V is better than 12V.
Bad joints have a greater effect at 12V...not forgetting all terminations nice and tight!

Hi there. I just picked up an old mtz 82, very similar to this tractor. The wiring has been messed with at some point. The series /parallel was disconnected. I have a diagram/schematic for it. At least I think it's right. All wires in battery box( small gauge) are red, one black. So I guess I'll have to chase them down to find out what's what. My question to you,is, is there away to test the series/ parallel switch? Any advice you have would be appreciated. I'm a carpenter, not an electrician. Haha, thank you in advance

Hello Marc.... I have to say I haven't seen a drawing myself! it's really a question of following the drawing point to point and testing the continuity though the switch using a multi-meter set to read resistance Ω the upside U means ohms (Greek letter omega) you are looking for very low resistances under 2/3 ohms though the switch contacts. With 12/24V on cars, tractors etc a slightly corroded or burn connections on cables or switch contacts has to be sorted out...... a lot of problems are sorted just by taking apart connections (one at a time!!!) cleaning them with scotch-brite, emery cloth etc or even a file and putting them back together..... you could sent me a link to the drawing....All the best....Trevor

Just saw this video. My father in law has an 801. But wont start due to the center electronic box between the batteries. Have u ever had issues with this and is there a way to bypass that box? Thnx
