That song was MORISSETTE's First song She had written and produced by Herself and in 2020 that song was the only Original Pilipino Music that enter on International Billboard and took the no.7 Slot as the Next Big Sound and for the 2nd time it took No.4 Slot. That song produced during MORISSETTE had a misunderstanding with Her Father because He discovered Mori had enter into a relationship with Dave snd He was against about it and He told Mori to break it up but, at that time MORISSETTE was at the right age and He actually the dole Breadwinner of the Family perhaps, it's because of the money why Her father don't want Her to have a BF. And when MORI decided to live by her own and left their home Her Father ordered Her Mother and Sibling not to let enter to their House and even have a communications or never talk to Mori since then. So, for over a year Morissette did not have a chance to talk to her Mom and younger Sibling and this made Morissette to cry when She's on bed. Because of the situations She'd write this song to convey to her Family how much She loved them and that's how this song had a very strong attachment to MORISSETTE and MORISSETTE is a very loving daughter infact before She left their homes She also left a huge amount of money for them to use, Tens of millions of Pesos and a new constructed house for them to live in comfortably. And for me i felt so sad, & angry when i learned that Morissette went through depression and cry on bed each night before She sleep.Angry to Her Father for being Selfish to Her daughters feelings when infact She's at the right age to fall in love.

It was originally planned too do the 5 songs from her EP Signature....outside, but it was 95 degrees, so they readjusted into her friends living room and the A/C . This song is very personal to Mowie, as t's a digital letter to her estranged father, whom has not spoken to her ,due to her romantic interest for over 3 years now....and did not attend her wedding. All the song on Signature are written by her and Dave Lamar ( Hubby) and have personal relevance. Will You Stay is great as well. BTW.....all the backing vocals are actually ...HER.

Got to say, at 5:14, you guys are the only ones who caught that in all the reactions I saw so far! I love this live version, and one of the reasons was particularly that moment, though I couldn't technically understand what happened there. I am so glad I finally knew what technically happened because of your 'synths coming out more' explanation! You have sharp ears (considering one of you only used one!) to notice that! Love this!!

Morissette‘s ‚power‘ first take from recording session from July 20th is really fun to watch !
