Marcelito was not singing falsetto. He was born with the ability to sing in soprano, tenor and baritone ranges and is completely self taught! He's also singing in both English and Italian...neither is his native language. Glad you enjoyed him!

Marcelito Pomoy is definitely in the elite singing bracket. He blows people out of the water. He is the master in switching voices in a split second, no effort whatsover. Oh, yeah, I had a complete JAW DROP first time listening to and watching this, and had to continue hoisting it up during the length of the song.🤯 Absolutely mindblowing, and flawlesslly sung 🥰🥰 I saw some voice teachers doing an analysis on this, and for them this was good, but "no biggie", they had a friend at Uni doing something simular, so they were not that impressed.... and I'm like; da actual F...? This guy is sitting down during the whole thing, his voice is clean as crystal, and running the scales up and down and jumping octaves seamlessly. 😲 Credits were credits due, dayyyymmmmm❣🤩

Aside from dual voices, he's Filipino singing in English and Italian and with the male voice switching between the two. I love watching singers and vocal coaches reactions to Marcelito. especially when they start off all technical explaining what he's doing and how. I have yet to see any of them even attempt this.

He has listened to the duet sung by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion countless times and has memorized both parts, this is the result of hours and hours of practice to imitate both parts. He is from the Philippines and does not speak Italian or English, this is strictly imitation of what he has heard. It is an amazing talent and always a shock when heard the first time. Crazy good.

Not only does he sing in saprano, tenor and baritone registers, switching effortlessly within the same song, he is also singing in two different languages, neither of which is his native tongue. He is Phillipino and being homeless by the time he was 7, he has had NO formal voice training. He was adopted by a police officer when his mother left him and his sibling and his father was incarcerated. He is 39 as of this post (05/28/2023) He married his wife, Joan in 2014 and they have one daughter. He is currently back in the Phillipines. We all need to BEG him to come back and tour in America when he fully recovers from his kidney issue....Can you tell he is my favorite performer??? hahahaha You ought to hear him sing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen....I cried the first time I heard him!!
