Many of us are being called to a purpose greater than just waking up everyday, going to work and doing the same mundane things over and over until we die. Unfortunately, most are too afraid to follow the calling inside us. I'm proud of you Glen and the chocolate babies are truly blessed to have you and Yvette as their parents.

I think the point is that there is purpose in what we call mundane. "The biggest stage i'll stand on is in my living room". Family is purpose, and purpose doesn't always mean what you do outside your home or away from your family.

That is exactly where I paused and I had to replay it again. What a POWERFUL statement that only a few, FEW people who are self aware enough to acknowledge that. I haven’t even finished the video yet but had to comment. I feel that as a parent, the best thing you can give your children is your time, that’s where it matters the most. They don’t need the money, technology, and all the stuff that society believes they need. They need a solid foundation where they can be CONSISTENTLY loved, disciplined, and challenged by TWO parents who are healthy and self aware enough to know there time is best well spent with their children instead of having the world raise them. They need their parents voice in their ears as much as their peers to combat the mess of ideologies that spreading out there. Love this video.

The Wilderness season is key in God's development of his chosen people. We all must go through those redefining, rebirthing, resurrecting periods each time God takes us to the next level. Though it may seem like a step back, it's actually the required pruning in order to bear more fruit. You can't get around it, you must go through it. Consider it like an arrow, which must be pulled backwards to be shot (many feet) forward. It's not a negative sign, it's actually a positive sign when God pulls you back that you are someone he can, and wants, to use. I pray you never forget the lessons (and the blessings) of his love and provision during this season because when he releases you back into the fray it will be easy to revert into the pattern of self-preservation. But it's the Lord who preserves his people. His love, goodness, and guidance will be what carries you forward in this next incredible phase he has for you and your family. Your community is rooting for the Henry Clan and this will be a monumental moment in the story you tell to inspire others one day. Write it all down. Memorialize it for the generations to come. I hope you have found with the humbling of this journey a ton of humor, because life is funny and God got jokes for sure. Stay blessed. Can't wait to see what you (all) do next.

My greatest prayer for you is that (if he hasn't started already) you allow yourself to be taught by the holy spirit to be kind and tenderhearted towards yourself even when the results aren't what you had intended.....Not to lose an ounce of dignity...being still enough and allowing the Holy Spirit help throughout the restoration...the parts of Glen wounded, bruised and with putrefying sores that have not been balmed with tender compassion and understanding for relief and the parts that the pride of life shames us for...and be present enough to in your soul to mourn, weep, be accountable without blame and endure in that secret place and find beauty in that place, to heal and operate from overflow. With that said your videos have been encouraging and when men are healed and whole we get to see another spectrum of beauty.

This really resonated with me. I genuinely hope this is not taken with any offense. I’ve been a very casual watcher over the years. I’ve always loved what the family stood for, the personalities of the children and Yvette but sometimes in the beginning was then off by the brashness of Glenn. I always to responsibility for my perception considering it’s my personal sensitivity. I‘ve been healing how I relate to and with men/authority figures for years. I’ve struggled to go beyond casual viewing bc I’ve often felt triggered by Glenn and with this comment I recognize there’s a disconnect from compassion and tenderness that’s always kept me at a distance. Always felt Glenn, you are genuine and deeply well intended in relationship to your family but perhaps that has been the challenge for me. Wish you all so well and looking forward to following more closely. ❤

I'm so excited and here for you. I'm so proud of you. This is an example. Pride is a drug and so hard to overcome as a Christian and as a black man at that. I couldn't be more proud of you.. This was so beautiful. You are leading beautifully, and whatever you thought the goal would look like, you're meeting the goal for your viewers. It just may look different than what you imagined. Vulnerability takes so much courage. You are my favorite father in media. I see men face these things in real life, but it's these things that matter the most that we never see in the media. Thank you so much. Please don't think you are letting us down. You have exceeded my expectations. I have so much respect for you, your beautiful wife and the amazing kids you two have created. Thank you for sharing.Btw My daughter and her high school sweetheart had their first child at 19. Neither of them had a positive father role model growing up due to both of their parents being divorced. Just two strong mothers! About the time my grandson was born I found this amazing man/ father on KZbin. The kind of man I would be proud to see my son in law grow to be. The kind of father I wanted for my grandkids and husband for my daughter. So I recommend his channel to him. He immediately found hope in the guidance he found there. That man was you! This channel has taught both my daughter and her partner how to be better parents and build a strong foundation! That was five years ago! They now have 4 kids. When their oldest was 3 they had a set of twins and when the twins were 14 months old they had their last baby. They have just bought their first home and continue to work hard. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with the world. You have helped not just fathers but whole families! I pray you truly understand what a gift you and your family have been to so many.❤️

Thank you so much for sharing this with us Glen. It's helpful to me specifically in ways that are too layered to write out in a comment, but your journey is a profound encouragement. I specifically appreciate the way you are doing hard things. Working to be and do better in life overall. It takes a special kind of courage and I thank you again for sharing with us.

I'm sharing this video with others. My son (18) and I just watched it. The video was worth the watch. This conversation is one of the best of this year. Thank you, sir! My son and I grabbed hands to cover you and your family in prayer. Keep shining, and God is your provision. May you have favor in what God has called you to.

Thanks for your honesty and transparency. There are so many important messages in your post, the importance of family, and a healthy mindset. I was not raised with a father in my home. I love watching you and your family, such a great example. Thanks again for sharing. Blessings to you and your family.

In ALL of it, In EVERY moment, and With EVERY experience, allow yourself GRACE. No matter what you teach your children, if they experience and feel your sadness, they too may inherit it. Truly find salvation, even in the darkness.🙏🏿

We truly love y’all!! Thank you for doing the work Glenn and being vulnerable. There some many times in our lives due to distractions, workload, stress, etc that we lose our focus/mission and have to reconnect to our “Home Base”. Lifting up you and Evette and the kiddos. ❤

I needed this. I’ve been grinding but neglecting my family-super convicting. Thank you for taking the time to have these uncomfortable talks. I can see now where your second oldest resembles you the most. Keep your head up remnant and find rest in the Most High as He directs your footsteps.
