I also recommend the commander from the Witherbloom precon. Pay 10 life, untap your lands, pay 1 and tap Willowdusk, give Beledros or some other creature *10* freaking +1/+1 counters? Seems good!

I built my Beledros as a spell slinging Golgari. Tons of ramp and card draw, as many instants as possible. My "golden pig" has been Pontif of Blight, giving all your pests extort is frighteningly potent.

I made a BG life drain deck with Dina as the commander. What's funny is 3/4 of the deck matches with this deck list. So I've swapped Dina with Beledros from the 99 and definitely gonna pick up the cards I'm missing from this video

I am planning to do a "witch coven" style deck where there is Beledros, Dina and Willowdusk in the deck and for extra fun, I let my table randomise which of the three becomes my commander and the other 2 returns to the deck.

I'm a blood artist builder at heart (life drain/gain, exp. Slimefoot the stowaway & oloro, ageless ascetic) with slimefoot being the first commander deck I ever made and the synergies here are uncanny but part of me doubts some of the support for pest creation methods and contemplates adding in saprolings and slimefoot when building my beledros deck but that's still up in the air

I built a (decidedly not budget) Beledros deck focused mainly around pests and magecraft. The turn or two after I cast her I can get my board so firmly established that I can activate her 7 or 8 times

Font of Agonies is a cheap card that really does a great job in this deck. As long as the lifegain is working it is infinite 2 mana destroy target creature.

That's a cool deck to work with. I'm not very good at deck building, but I swapped in some much more powerful artifacts and switched out some of the creatures to giants (since Osgir is one) that benefit each other, etc. With the in store ban lifting, I'm excited to see what people have home brewed over the pandemic!

I thought they layed eggs but elder dragons tend to spawn from the ur dragon? So much about dragon's reproduction we don't know tbh.

@cak01vej I think i heard something about these 5 Elder dragons being the first we know about that were not spawned by the Ur-Dragon though i don't remember the source. Found the source and i was mistaken in thinking the Tarkir dragons were directly spawned by the Ur-Dragon, though they are the first ones to not come from that lineage

Just built a beledros deck, she's super fun. Lots of lifegain and drain, then using it for a big exsanguinate or torment of hail fire goodness. Also pests are the best creatures in magic and if you disagree you're dumb and stupid and wrong and dumb.

As much as I like this it usually never works. It is very expensive to cast so you'll need reanimator effects. Even when it hits it doesn't immediately impacts the board without a lot of set up.

@@JavierOrtizBultron I'd recommend 2cmc mana rocks like the black green talisman, prismatic lens, mind stone, fellwar stone, and the one from planechase. Of course with kodamas reach, cultivate, the new 2 cmc ramp spell from strixhavene emergent sequence, farseek,3 visits, sakura tribe elder, ,blighted woodland, dark ritual, lotus bloom, myriad landscape and explore, its easy peasy. Those are mostly budget but I also have sylvan library, phyrexian arena and other card draw enchantments to speed things along because lifeloss isn't an issue for the deck

@@jacket2848 yes, all those on top of casting him assuming it was not countered. The rest deck needs to run on cruise control allowing you to play it latter in the game or really early. Kudos if you can ramp to play him early and still have mana left for protecting him. That's 9 mana at least plus having the cards in hand.
