This part used to be called the variety market . The food was sold across the road where the Hilton is now . That part was at sea level where the boats would come in. This place is in my blood.

Yes we’ll definitely consider Lisburn and Bangor for future vlogs. On past vlogs we’ve visited Portrush, Holywood and Newcastle in Northern Ireland.

​@WalkWithNiamh I didn't know it that it opens on Sunday. Years since I've been cos I'm not sure where to park. The Farmers Market on Friday. There was a burger stall in the corner near the Court end. It was really good. Towards the end of the time we got a huge bunch of grapes the size of a football for £1

Wow, that's a bargain Gerard! I thought you were going to say £1.. There's a couple of multistory parking spots, one beside Hilton hotel and Layon Plaza. I'd see a TikTok of what the market looked like in yesteryear, so much has changed!
