Say what you like ... you know this was a farrr more dangerous affair back then than it is now .... it’s still pretty hectic but nothing like the fear you would have attending this mid troubles .... crazy times

No, it wasn’t wrong then or now. The Catholic Church opposed its adherents reading the bible by themselves and ran money making rackets such as indulgences. You must have noticed the recent wrongs of the Roman Catholic Church like the widespread abuse of children which it tried to hide. Unfortunately there is two sides to the Roman Catholic Church. One where there are untold millions seeking God. The second is a political system imposed on top of that, where appearance reputation and wealth take precedence. It’s no coincidence that nearly all of the early reformers were Roman Catholic Priests.
