Back in the late 80's & early 90's other than seeing my U.S.A.F. F16 demonstrations at various "Airshow" across America and even in Europe. The craziest F16 demonstration I have ever seen was a "DUTCH" air force F16 at RAF Mildenhall in 1988 or 89 it's been a LONG time ago but i do Absolutely remember the demo just without the "FLARES" & not at DUSK, Full Afterburner during the day, VERY impressive.

Si c'était le cas, les américains auraient un équivalent au Mig 29 et ce n'est pas le cas, le F-16 est l'avion le plus répandu aux USA et majoritairement aussi dans l'OTAN, preuve qu'il est supérieur au Mig 29 ne t'en déplaise. Les français pensent aussi que le Rafale est le meilleur avion au monde et le monde entier se fout de leur gueule tant le Rafale est nul, ne rejoint pas leur camp, c'est une question de dignité ;-)

@@Nicolas-kd5ni être le plus répandu ne veut pas dire être le meilleur ce sont sont surtout les forces de ventes américaines qui sont meilleures mais mais pas leurs avions le F16 n'a pas la manœuvrabilité d'un Mig29 dans espace réduit ou à basse vitesse et j'ai pu le constater au Bourget Quant au rafale il vole mieux que le F16 j'ai pu le constater aussi mais ce n'est pas la même génération les européens ont choisi le F35 preuve que la force commerciale est américaine c'est tout !

@@abdelben2800 Je ne suis pas du tout d'accord avec ton analyse, La cellule du F-16 a été conçue pour être instable et cette instabilité est compensée par l'électronique ce qui lui confère des capacités et une agilité extrême bien plus qu'un lourd et lent Rafale, sans avoir les capacités d'un F-22 il en est proche pour un GEN4, bien mieux qu'un F-15, il est connu pour cela et c'est sa force sans compter sa vitesse bien bien supérieure au Rafale, désolé mais le Rafale a été conçu comme un canif suisse à tout faire, résultat il est mauvais pour tout, vitesse ridicule, agilité passable etc etc

On ne se mettra pas d'accord mais le F-16 c'est 76 victoires aériennes et une seule perte en Turquie à cause d'un missile grec, c'est probablement le meilleur avion au monde avec un palmarès de malade, le Rafale c'est 0 victoire aérienne, 0, zéro désolé mais les chiffres parfois ont un sens...

Sans la commande massive de l'armée française, cet avion n'a été vendu qu'à des pays du tiers-monde qui voulaient éviter le marché américain, le seul pays civilisé qui a acheté des Rafales d'occasion j'insiste d'occasion en échange d'un bras de fer maritime c'est la Grèce, cocorico le seul pays de l'Otan et le seul pays non du tiers-monde (il faut le dire vite) c'est la Grèce qui a acheté des Rafales d'occasion en échange d'un bras de fer vis-à-vis de la Turquie. Franchement on est loin d'un succès commercial, pire sans l’achat massif de l'armée française on avait là un échec commercial cuisant et probablement la faillite de Dassault. Merci aux français d'avoir donné de leur impôts pour sauver ce bourrin du ciel invendable, je n'invente rien, les chiffres sont des chiffres et sont FACTUELS

F16 is designed for sustained high speed tight turning bit with a cost of pretty poor angle of attack, so that is why F16 cant do cobra or any form of postal maneuver

Russian planes perform a cobra and there is no washout in a real battle! the difference in weight is 3 times and the f16 can fight in a minimum space with a maximum speed where Russian aircraft are not in their environment !! from a clean fighter, let's go to a multi-purpose one like f15 f18 f22 there, in the same characteristics, avionics and the radar of Russian aircraft are just a failure

​@@thinhnguyenduy4099, the F-16 outfitted with thrust vectoring would have no problem with the cobra maneuver, they did it back in the '80s, but they never produced it because maintaining energy in a dogfighting scenario proves to be better than slowing down and get killed by your enemy's wingman.
