Greetings from Texas. I'm subscribed brother. You guys in the Philippines are crushing it. The N.V.B.K. never took off in the States. It was too complex and is, pretty much breed specific. I started club #309. Most Malinois breeders here only care about selling puppies. You can find them for $300 US in any big city. $2000 seems to be an average to decent quality. Americans like big and dark or even black and can sit around the house eating snacks and watching 📺 They are usually inferior in drive and confidence. Most have some brn#'s in their history or undisclosed black shepherd. Most American importers like the more affordable, accessable knpv dogs. For the Malinois I feel genetics are first and NVBK is the standard of breeding. All other sports are great but not for Malinois. If another breed can win, is it even a worthy task for Malinois? Then it becomes for the handler preference, not to better the breed. Sch/IPO should be an easy task for mid grade Malinois with proper training. Maybe the new place for working Malinois will be the Philippines! Stay safe and keep up the great work from OGK9.com.
