With Marley Watkins (our top goal scorer from last season) fit for the away leg I reckon we stand a chance of getting a result next week - if we play as well as we did last night. Vassell did an amazing job leading the line though, really happy with him as captain. It's that consistency between now and last season though that's made the difference, the debacle against CQ was in my opinion caused by the changes to team and management from the Steve Clarke era. Dell keeping the squad solid just makes these early games in the season so much better.

The fans of Cercle Brugge are friendly people. They don't really have hooligans. If this were Standard de Liège, Antwerp, Club Brugge or Anderlecht, this could have caused problems. I'm a fan of Kaa Gent, but Cercle will normally finish this at home. Belgian teams are not used to playing on artificial grass. So this always has a disadvantage for teams that are not used to this. If you really want to make a special video, you should go and watch Antwerp - Beerschot or Standard - Anderlecht. There's always stuff happening

Cercle are hardly ultra's 😂 they travel to away games in Belgium with sometimes less than 100 fans. But they are very loyal and there's never any trouble with them. Other fans can go have a beer with them, which is lovely.
