Belgium got an elbow to the face and received a defensive foul. That's the opposite of home court advantage. Also, when a challenge is not fully conclusive, the point is always given in 3x3. Nothing to do with home court advantage. The Americans would have gotten the same call.

@@TheMusicGuard it took me a 10 secs to see that the ball was still in his hands when the time was over. there is nothing inconclusive about it.. the elbow to the face thing; the Belgium player was late, the American player was already going up..and that's why they called a defensive foul on the Belgium player..

Did you watch the complete match? In the opening 5 min the ref just throws fouls towards the Belgian team, while the US team isn’t even punished throwing elbows in the face. Both teams playing hard basketball, but only 1 team getting punished by the Serbian ref. Home court advantage ? Riiiight.

@@rubenthys The reason why i said home court advantage is because of the basket they counted when the time was already up. you CANNOT argue about that. u can argue about the fouls and all that but I don't mind.. But here is the thing, if you find out that the refs are onto u about fouls, u gotta be careful..game ain't fair. but something that anybody can see like when u make a basket after the time has expired. How would u adjust to that? Anyway that game is done. the Belgians and all the best to them.

Belgium 5v5 men: ranked 37th. Belgium 5v5 women: ranked 5th. Belgium 3x3 men: ranked 4th, USA ranked 5th. Top 20 players 3x3: 3 for Belgium, 1 for USA. So only in 5v5 men are the USA much stronger.
