It seems like travelling in 2021 to both UK and Israel fits really well my definition of "hell". Thanks for all these infos! 🙏

Oh yeah, it's definitely annoying and exhausting. However - it definitely seems to open up. Istanbul airport looks like there was never COId - everything is open and a lot of flights. Completely different from London/Tel Aviv.

Great video man, what if you are not vaccinated but you are healthy, and you take a pcr test and fill that form?
@PlanetPursuit3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! So I am not vaccinated but recovered... in the UK you still cannot leave the airport, and in Israel you need to quarantine for 10 days, and then do another PCR test. (So one PCR test before you leave your country, one at the airport, and one 10 days later).

What kind of PCR test was it? The super long one in the nose or the shorter one?
@PlanetPursuit3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it was the super long one in the nose.

Great video 👍 I have a question -- For incoming passengers to Israel, do they have medical exemptions to the PCR test? I have a nose injury, which I had surgery for, and cannot take a nasal swab for this reason. I'm traveling to Israel soon and was wondering what they do for people who cannot take the test for medical reasons. I've called the airport and Israel's ministry of health to ask, but they only speak Hebrew, which I don't understand. So, I've been trying to find answers online from actual travelers to israel

Hey Jen, thank you! I don't know, but I'm actually flying to Israel again right now, and I'll try to ask them there when I land tonight! Hopefully they will have an answer.

@@PlanetPursuit Oh thank you so very much! That would really help me
@PlanetPursuit3 жыл бұрын
I asked them, and they said that if there's any issue with the nose, they can do the test only in one nostril, and do it without going deep. Anyway, just tell them you have a issue, and they will try to work around it.

Did you arrive to Israel on a weekend day or a weekday? How much did you pay for the PCR test at the airport? Thanks.

Hi. Is Israel open for tourism (I'm American). And what are the requirements? Please give me the full details. Thanks
@PlanetPursuit3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Israel opens to international tourists from the 1st of July. You are required to do a PCR test 72 hours before departure, and another test upon landing. The test costs 80 NIS, if you sign up in advance here: check2fly.co.il/. You have to fill in the arrival declaration here: corona.health.gov.il/flights/, 24 hours before arrival. If you've been to one of the countries at high risk before arrival (Argentina, Brasil, South Africa, India, Mexico, or Russia) for more than 24 hours, or have left the airport in one of those countries - you'll be required to quarantine. If you've recovered or vaccinated, and not coming from one of those 6 countries - you're not required to quarantine. I think that's it :-) Enjoy your stay!

@@PlanetPursuit Hi, thank you for sharing. My daugher is going to study in Haifa from the US. She has to apply for a visa soon, but the consulate is not responding for any questions. Where did you get the information about travel opening on 7/1? I would also like to go with her to get her settled in.
@PlanetPursuit3 жыл бұрын
@@hoshimiru-farm actually, there's some bad news - Israel has postponed tourist entry for 1 month, since the Delta variant start spreading around Israel. www.ynetnews.com/health_science/article/S1y7ohg2u

Hi, the bracelet is just to mark that you'e went through the testing. It doesn't track you after you leave the airport.

Thank you for the video! I only have a paper vaccine card. Do you know how they validate these? Do they just look at the card or do they have a system? Mine can not be scanned
@PlanetPursuit3 жыл бұрын
They are scanning them, but I think that you could use the paper one as well. Now they finally let non-Citizens in as well, so now would be the perfect time to go.
